Having a medical condition needing heat for legs at night, this blanket warms faster than any I have had.
Controls set very easy and are solid state with no contact clicking. Blanket material, blue, is very well made and attractive.
Highly recomend it

I bought the warming blanket for my wife. Excellent choice. The look, feel and quality are great. The dual controls makes it perfect. One of the best gifts I've purchased recently.

I have bought many electric blankets in my lifetime to find they only last one season. I have the beauty rest mattresses and when I saw the beauty rest electric blanket, I decided it had to be as geat as the mattresses. The blanket is high quality all the way to the controls. A Fabulous product. Thanks beauty rest!

This warming blanket has been the best heated blanket I have ever owned. I turn it on before I go to bed and it warms up the covers so they are warm when I am ready to go to bed. My favorite thing is the dual controls. I can have my side the temperature I like and my husband can have his side the way he likes it.

THIS WAS A SURPRISE WHEN I OPENED THE BLANKET. APPARENTLY, I PAID NO ATTENTION TO THE WORD "EMBOSSED" WHEN I ORDERED FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS. AS I OPENED THE PACKAGE TO WRAP, IT WAS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. USUALLY ELECTRIC BLANKETS ARE JUST PLAIN AND THIS ONE HAS LOVELY DETAILED EMBOSSING. MY DAUGHTER SAYS IT'S PERFECT AND KEEPS HER TOASTY WARM.

Blanket only heated at the head and the foot areas.Nothing in the middle. Had to return it for credit. Also fabric was thin in spots almost like this blanket was a second. The instructions tell you to have this blanket on top of all other bedding. Looks to me like all the heat goes up into the air. Never heard of such instructions. Will look elsewhere
for a better blacket(at least one that works).

I have been using it for about a month now. We really like it. Is great, cause I like lots of heat and hubby doesn't. Nice not having to use all my blankets and washing all the time. I haven't washed this blanket yet, that might be the down side of it. Seems you have to measure it before wash and then block it again afterwards. Seems like a lot of work to me. But we do love the blanket.

I bought one for us and for my daughter. We are both happy with it. The controls take some getting used to, and would have preferred another color...but warm and value count too.

I bought this for my uncle who is always cold but I used it myself first. It heats up beautifully and you don't feel any annoying wires. I wish I had bought one for myself because I seem to sleep so much better when I use it.

We just started using this blanket and so far it is working very well. We had another name brand that last about five years, as long as the warranty, so we are hoping this one will have a longer life. This one is a good size and is very comfortable. It heats up quickly and is very toasty. We do not sleep with it on and use it to warm the bed or when reading. So far, we are very satisfied.

I received the blanket within two days of placing the order. I checked on prices in stores and found that the overstock price beat them all. The blanket heats up fast and is lightweight and warm. I bought this blanket after reading all the reviews and I agree with them. I am very pleased with my blanket and recommend it.

I got this blanket based on the picture. While it looks like a somewhat plush blanket, it is NOT. It is very thin and kind of rough. It does work well at heating and I liked the auto turn off function. I just could not get used to the appearance of it! It is a thin ivory blanket with what looks like a rough gold pattern painted on it (NOT embossed!!!). The picture on the site DOES NOT represent the product, I can not stress that enough. If I could place another blanket on top I may have kept it but nothing can be placed on top of it. I would recommend for function but not appearance....blagh...it's going back. Thanks to Overstock for great customer service as always!

Bought this as a gift for my Mother and her first comment was "It is Beautiful". A little difficult for her to get set-up, but I came to the rescue -- the plugs were a little difficult for her to get in and to be sure that all was set-up correctly. The directions were a little difficult for her to follow.Now that it is up and running, she is very happy and even said that she had to turn it down from 4 to 2 as it was so warm and comfy My only complaint would be that the fabric seems to be a little thin, otherwise a very "beautiful" and great gift for my 87 year old Mom..

Bought this electric blanket for a christmas gift. The quality is one of the best I have ever bought. Very pleased with the softness and the wires don't show like the others I have bought. I was extremely pleased with it when I opened the package.

I love the Beauty Rest Electric blanket. The extra 6 inches in length and the price were the selling factors for me. The only draw back in the fabric is a little rough to the touch, but other than that I love the product.

I didn't have very high standards for this product (it's only an electric blanket after all - all it needs to do it heat up); however, one aspect that pleasantly surprised me was how quickly it heated up. Otherwise, it did exactly what I expected. I was pleased the quality.
