My husband and I had a tempurpedic that was beyond worn out. We finally made the decision to buy a new one, but neither of use took the time to go shop for a new mattress. After reaching the point of desperation for a good nights sleep, I found this mattress on Overstock. I wanted a firmer mattress so ordered. We have had it about a month or two now, the first few nights I was regretting the purchase, but after about a week, it's perfect. I don't have back pain when I wake up, I just asked my husband if he has gotten used to the mattress, he said yes, he loves it. It is EXTRA FIRM though. Be sure of this before you purchase. They aren't kidding about how firm it is. There is no dipping/sagging/squeeking, etc. It's great and I love it.

I love this mattress - Beautyrest Elite Plato Extra Firm King-size Mattress After dismal experiences with the popular PILLOW TOP mattresses, I finally decided to abandon that design because the "pillow" will eventually lose its ability to recover and will leave a huge hollow in the top of the mattress. This happens even if regular rotation of the mattress is performed on schedule. So my solution to the sagging pillow top problem is this: 1. Buy the firmest mattress that exists. 2. Add a memory foam mattress topper that meets your preference for softness/firmness. So that's what I did. This Beautyrest Elite Plato Extra Firm King-size Mattress is VERY firm. I added a 3-inch memory foam topper (a 2-inch would also work fine). It's a great combination. When the topper loses its memory (and it WILL), I'll buy a new topper. That's much more sensible than buying a whole new mattress, in my opinion. I've slept on this mattress with a 250 lb partner for a month now. It is solid and stable, but comfy with the topper. Delivery was superb. I've recommended this combo to many of my friends who spent twice the price on their pillow top mattresses - they're ready to make the change too.
