I am most pleased with the Beautyrest Cozy Fleece Electric Blanket we recently ordered through Overstock.com. The quality is superb, and the fleece gives it a soft touch that is incredibly smooth and comfortable to sleep in. I especially like the weight of the blanket, as it isn't too heavy and doesn't bunch up or pill like other electric blankets we've had that were made of cheaper materials. I tend to feel cold, only to then feel "too hot", so finding a heating blanket that warms evenly is important to me, and this one does the job perfectly. I highly recommend it!

This is the greatest electric blanket we have ever owned!! PERIOD!! It is very toasty even with the power turned off. The preheat feature is excellent, just turn it on 15-20 mins. before you go to bed and slip under the covers when you are ready. It is absolutely silent in operation---NO CLICKING!!! Easy to setup, nice neutral color, dual controls (KING) and the features go on. We live in New Jersey and it gets pretty cold here and I don't remember turning the heat level past 5 !!! I highly recommend it!! The only thing I have not done yet is to run it thru the washing machine and let it hang outside to dry in the springtime sun.

I purchased this blanket due to the great reviews so I feel obligated to write myself to help my fellow consumers. "Cozy" is the perfect adjective to describe it. The pre-heat cycle warms almost immediately. I've owned many electric blankets over the years and this is the first one in which you do not feel the coils because of the manner in which they have been stitched into the blanket fabric. I can't comment on how it launders yet. Only down side was the twin size was the same price as the king and queen. I would still purchase again regardless of the price. It was well worth it.

I purchased this blanket over a month ago for my 15 year old son. He sleeps in the coldest room of the house, so I was looking to be able to turn the thermostat down at night and still keep him warm.
It has worked wonderfully so far. He is very picky about the "feel" of things, which is why I knew I would have to buy better quality. The blanket is very comfortable on the body, not scratchy at all, and no wirery feeling either. I haven't tried to wash it yet though.

I bought this blanket after reading through all of the reviews on Overstock and determined that this was the best blanket for the price/quality. I've had this blanket for a month now and use it every night - the fabric is very soft compared to other heated blankets I've tried and heats up extremely fast/well. Blanket is good to throw on a bed on top of your bed or to snuggle up in on the couch. Hope you enjoy this as much as I have!

I love my blanket. With the high cost of heating a home this blanket makes an inviting place to snuggle and be warm. The blanket is soft, warm and everything I hoped it would be. Thank you Overstock.

We had a different blanket last year that pilled up and fell apart. What a disappointment. It was shedding and all. We threw it away after one season. THIS blanket does not shed and will not pill because of the fabric. You can hardly feel the wires. It's a great quality blanket, very plush. You don;t have to think too hard on this one!

A wonderful warm cozy bed waiting for us when we go to bed. Sometimes we can't wait until "bedtime" and just crawl under this blanket and read. It's wonderful. We love it. Makes frigid nights enjoyable.

Manufacturer's instructions say this blanket must be laid flat on top of all other bedclothes. But then the blanket barely heats up at all, thus delivering only meager heat to the atmosphere and none whatsoever to the person in bed. Completely ineffective.

I purchased two of these units. One has proven to live up to expectations, the other quit working after less than two weeks of use. Very disappointed because of brand name had expected a product with a much longer life.

This blanket gets really warm and is a great deal for the price! I didn't feel like paying over $200 for some of the blankets in stores. This isn't quite as nice of quality as those pricier ones, but definitely worth even more than I paid for it!

The electric blanket is very nice. It warms quickly and with the dual controls, it allows each side of the bed to be individually controlled. The blanket is nice looking. A great buy that I could not find anywhere else.

I recently purchased the Beautyrest Cozy Fleece blanket, and have totally enjoyed it. It is comfortable, and you can't tell the wires are there at all. I have yet to wash it, so my current opinion may change, but so far, so good. Even in the cold weather and our thermostat turned down for the night, I find the lowest setting is great for me - dog loves it too! I only gave the apperance four stars instead of five because there wasn't a choice of colors. Other than that, I am totally satisfied with this blanket.

This is our 4th electric blanket through the years, nicest yet. Gets HOT quickly, holds temp. well. Haven't washed it yet, so don't know how it will launder. Queen size uses different eletrical outlets for each control, if that could be an issue.

The balnket is more than worh it's weight in gold. I can NOT say a bad thing about it. I had searched for a year but had not found anything I liked. I definitely like the quilted stitching, will last better when washed. I would recommend this blanket. Great buy for the money.

This blanket seems to be designed well. I like that the dual controls have individual connections to the blanket, which makes it easier to determine which is "left" or "right." It heats quickly, and even though I tend to be cold natured, the low settings provide ample warmth all night long. I have a king-sized bed, and the blanket could be a couple of inches wider on each side, but it isn't a major issue. The blanket is soft, but not "elegant" in appearance; so if you want comfort and practicality, this is a good buy. If you want "pretty," you might not be satisfied. Overall, I recommend this item.
