Right out of the packaging, it sprung into shape. This is used for a spare bed that has a firm mattress on it. It makes the bed softer and more comfortable.
It seems that a few years ago I bought a similar topper from OS and it was much better than this one. This foam topper is not really good for much other than some make-shift wall sound-proofing.
Upon purchasing this product, my initial impression was the increased comfort for our bed and our toddlers bed. Yes it did provide additional comfort, but I should have purchased a little thicker pad. No ones fault but my own. This is a good product and I would recommend it.
