I wanted something for my marble table, which is black with white veins, The beads don't show up that well in the photo, they sort of reduce the look of the embroidery. Not sure if they will make it through a wash cycle. I'm not planning on putting anything under it, though I may try something latter.I may remove the beads on my own, doesn't look that hard. Very pleased with the embroidery.
I ordered two table cloths they are beautiful, they look gorgeous and very expensive. The table cloths came in a sturdy box, my only compliant is that I received two beige, when the order form clearly stated that the order required one beige and one white. I decided to keep it, because it so beautiful and did not want to chance not getting a replacement. Overstock quickly sells their merchandise and they do not always have a replacement.
The table cloths are perfect for the Holidays.
