    for some reason I thought that the pan was pre-seasoned. It wasn't. That was no big deal and seasoning it was easy. I actually do not use the pan for baking. I use it, on the grill, for frying peppers and Italian sausage...... for a family that keeps growing. It worked excellent for this and you can't beat the taste for cooking in cast iron. The product quality is very good, not as smooth a casting as the real old timers but still very good and the price was great. I am sure I will get a lifetime of service out of it.

    I had been looking fora large cast iron baking pan. This pan is made of quality cast iron. One of the handles on the pan has some sharp edges but for the price I can't complain. Shipping was really quick. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a large cast iron pan. Just so you know this pan is very heavy. The only reason I did not rate this product as excellent is because of the sharp edges one of the handles

    This pan is fabulous. It not only looks great but food cooked in it is amazing. Be prepared- it is really heavy, just as you would expect from cast iron. I cooked a huge pan of root vegetables with just a little olive oil and rosemary and they came out amazing. This pan performed exactly as expected and is great.
