This is a bargain, get it while it lasts! I just received my pans yesterday and am so happy. You have to wash them thoroughly first, to remove a light wax coating they come with; then just add a little bit of oil, pop them in the oven for an hour at 380 degrees and they are good to go. In my opinion, everything tastes better when cooked on a cast iron skillet. Pay attention to the size description in the website, as my husband found them to be on the smaller side, but I knew what to expect, so no complaints there. The smallest skillet is perfect for heating a small amount of salsa or to cook an egg sunny side up. I have other cast iron pans from Lodge and they are comparable in quality, and at this price I am a Bayou Classic convert now.

Great skillets, as advertised. Only issue is that, one would THINK that with the name "Bayou Classics" this is an American made product - NOT SO. These are manufactured in China. However, the product is very good.

I can't complain considering the price paid. They are small as mentioned in other reviews, The quality is OK but it does seem like they will require more maintenance than my other cast iron cookware.

I would like to have got the right instructions for my product, and also it would have been nice to know that thses pans rust easly. I really like the idea of them, but I am not at all satisfied with the fact that a new product could rust so fast. Also I would have benift from the correct instruction for the product i orderd.

Pans were a little rougher finish than I expected, but cook just fine. Price very good for three pans & I am using them instead of teflon. They are heavy so not too good if your hands are weak. I have arthritis in mine & manage fine.

I can't really answer the other questions, as I had these shipped to my son in California. He thinks they are great. I have used iron cookware for years and won't use anything else as it stands up to use, time and heat like nothing else!

This is a versatile set for any cook. I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loves it. It is high quality and a great bargain compared with similar products in stores.

The skillets are solid and cook well and evenly. The set is a good value, especially for the price. I recommend this item as a gift, first-time cast-iron skillet users and those with limited storage space. The serious or veteran cast-iron skillet users will be pleased with the performance but not the size of the skillets, which appear larger in the pictures than they are in reality. Even the largest skillet is relatively smaller than the wider, often-used skillets. The two smaller skillets had minor chipping when I removed from packaging, but it's something that diminishes with time and usage. Overall, good buy.

I ordered these pans because my son and I are both low in iron. For the price, they are everything I expected. The pans are good quality and I will likely purchase the larger pan. I tried to research the company to find out where they are manufactured to no avail. The company is American so I'd like to think they are manufactured in the USA which would be terrific. Overall I would recommend the product if you are in the market for cast iron pans. You absolutely must follow the directions for seasoning the pans because an unseasoned iron pan is useless.

I loved them and they were a tad bit smaller than I thought, so if you want to put 4 pork chops in the large skillet - well it probably would be best to buy the bigger skillet by itself, but gosh they are an exceptional value, I priced 3 of them at *** and they were over 50.00 so you do get a very good bargain here, and they ship for so cheap - and they are real cast iron and that is so heavy - so 2.95 for shipping is super good - makes a good gift for yourself if you don't own any. I bought them for my daughter's 4th wedding anniversary gift.

These cast iron skillets were cheapy made. So cheap that when I finally picked them up from UPS. (Which is another horror story in itself!!! I ABSOLUTELY HATE UPS!!! TRULY THE WORST DELIVER SERVICE KNOW TO MAN...PLEASE STOP USING THEM!!!)...I DIGRESS...So back to the product. When I picked them up the package was in HORRIBLE shape, the box was completely beat up. But I though "it's cast iron, it'll be fine"...NOT 1. It was MISSING 1 SKILLET (10") 2. THE REMAINING 2 CAST IRON SKILLETS WERE COMPLETELY BROKEN...HOW IN THE HECK DO YOU MANAGE TO BREAK CAST IRON!!!!?????!!!!! TRULY NOT THE BEST PRODUCT.
