I actually purchased this lamp to hang in our covered gazebo, so we did not have to do any hard-wire installation. I LOVE this lamp....it is beautiful! It looks like a high quality lamp so much so, that I was very surprised at how inexpensive it was. The beadwork is very charming and adds an exquisite touch. I would highly recommend this chandelier to anyone liking this style. Just be aware that it is a lower light unit, taking only 3 40 watt bulbs. It is the perfect amount for our outdoor gazebo.

Really beautiful looking, exactly like the picture, chandelier with high quality lamp shades in a gorgeous taupe/gold silk and crystal beads. The shade is actually 6" in height and more proportioned across in diamenter than appears, which is more substantial looking in the glamour aspect. Color is as shown, bronzey. The ceiling chain is extremely long if you want to install from a valved ceiling and very sturdy and beautiful. Great value for the money. Installation was more difficult than anticipated by a hired electrician but worth it. Screws were missing and it had to be jury-rigged to fit. Hit my head on the tip and it snapped off. Clean cut, so I used my glue gun and it's like new. BUY IT - YOU WILL LOVE IT!
