Two of these units fitted perfectly in my bathroom where I needed storage. I knew I would like them because I have two of six-drawer units else where in my home. They came well packaged and in very good condition. Both the stand and the baskets have to be assembled. Wicker on one or two of the baskets had to pushed aside to complete the process as the wicker covered the place where the bolts have to be installed. Other than that, the baskets are quite simple to put together. The directions are fairly easy to follow and I was able to assemble the entire unit myself without any help in a short time. The only tools needed are an Allen wrench, which is included, and a Philips screwdriver. The top of the unit is a solid piece of wood, which should be screwed to the frame. I was not able to do this, as the preformed drill holes do not match the holes on the frame. So far the wooden shelves are sitting on the top and seem quite secure without being fastened. They make a nice place for various bottles, jars, etc that seem too heavy to put in the wicker baskets. The baskets are great for small linens, cosmetics, medicine bottles and odds and ends. Having two units gives me 12 drawers plus 2 shelves in a very tiny space. As a bonus it looks great!

Too timely to put together. Missing screws. Wrong custom size shelf sent. Needs to be replaced. Basket screw holes not aligned properly causing breaks in wicker when tightening. Stands crooked. Not happy with the total package. Loved it at a friends house which caught my eye and works with any interior decor.

Other reviews mention the main problem with this construction - the shelf supports for the drawers are not held in by anything other than gravity, and the alignment is slightly off. Additionally, you cannot put anything remotely heavy in the drawers, or they tip and drag when pulled out. The entire assembly is not very steady - not a good idea to have around toddlers. Price is a bit much for wicker drawers and shady iron construction. Other than these issues, it's a cuter way to store your bathroom things than plastic.

Bought this to have extra drawer space in the bedroom. It has worked out perfectly. It was a little confusing to put together but we had it done in about 45 minutes. Seems sturdy, doesn't take up much space, and colors are true to picture. I did line the drawers with some shelf/drawer liner just to be certain the wicker didn't snag any of my clothing. It is a versatile piece that would fit in in another room if I decide to put it elsewhere.

I bought this piece for my newly remodeled bathroom, knowing it would be a little tall but needed something while I look for the right size piece that meets my needs. It is wonderful!! It was a little tricky to put together but simple and fun. I cut up one of those hall runners with the rubber backing for drawer liners since the drawers have a woven wicker bottom. I also cut a piece for the solid wood top shelf, beccause we keep a 12-cup coffee maker in the bathroom with hot water for hand washing and shaving. This saves us about $10 a month on our electric bill. I left the two largest drawers out because the litter box has to go there, and carefully put them away unassembled for later along with their liners and hardware. The drawers are just baskets which come out and there is nothing to keep them in place. I can take a drawer out and take it to wherever I'm going to use the contents. This unit isn't at all rickety. It's well-designed and attractive. I have had quite a few nice comments on it.

This unit has lightweight, hollow framing that comes out lop-sided when assembled. The 'shelf' pieces don't all 'fit' well with the frame (i.e., snap in place) like they should. Fairly easy to assemble, although not completely without frustration (the black screws holding the fake wicker baskets together barely fit in the holes). The top is fake wood, and it looks cheap. Once I put it together, I had to put something under one of the legs just to level it. Even then, the whole thing is pretty flimsy. And the drawers have to be opened with two hands, otherwise they'll fall right out - there are no drawer stoppers in place. Honestly, I absolutely cannot believe I paid $129 for this thing. It's worth about $40 - if that much. It's made from what I deem very cheap materials. I would have returned it but didn't want to go to the trouble of disassembling it and repackaging it. Overstock, I've been a fan of yours for many years, and I'm surprised that you have this thing marked up so exboritantly. Please take it out of your inventory, or cut the price back by a good 75% to match the value.

This is a nice piece that looks exactly as pictured...I have not had the problem of shelves slipping yet. It is nice looking and I would recommend it.

I just love this shelf system. It is excellent quality and very easy to put together. It serves as a lovely storage unit in our dining room. This piece could go in any room! We love it.

I like the shelf/storage that it provides. The baskets are a little more orange than they look online, but it is serving its purpose. I am using it as a pantry, and all my things fit into, and it fits neatly into a nook in my kitchen!

This has cleaned up the look of my laundry room. No more stuff on open shelves to have to look at. My son in high school put it together, and my daughter who is in college really wants one for her apartment.(so it must be cool!).

Even with the coupon I had, this is not worth the money I paid for it.The metal pieces were bent and scratched - putting the shelves in proved to be a challenge because I'd put one in, go to put in the next and the first would fall out.And how about that the box was filled with mouse feces?I was originally thinking that if I liked this, I'd order another. Yeah...NO. Can't wait until I'm no longer a struggling grad student and can afford something better.

I bought this item for my diningroom to put a small tv on top and store files below. It serves this purpose well. It was very easy to assemble. It is a tiny bit wobbly so I would not recommend it around small children if you intend to put something heavy on the top shelf. Otherwise, no complaints. It is attractive and just the right height.

This is the worst item I have ever purchased at Overstock or anywhere else. The shelves do not lock securely to the sides and there is no stop for the drawers. What does this mean? You pull out a drawer and if you are not careful the drawer and all it's contents fall on the floor. Since the shelves just sit on the back they are not secure and the entire unit has fallen completely apart at least once a week. I didn't open the second unit after seeing how horrible the first unit is. I might not be upset if I only paid $XX for this unit but at this price I am furious. The quality is horrible and it really isn't even usable unless you don't mind putting it together every other time you pull out a drawer. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!!

I ordered this on Sunday afternoon and got it on Tuesday afternoon. It was easy to put together except for the bottom of the drawers which required pushing the rattan out of the way of the screws. This was very minor and only occurred on two of the five drawers. Total time to assemble was about 15 minutes, but I assemble this kind of stuff quite a bit. My only word of warning is be sure you get the screws in the right place on the wooden shelf, but it only takes about 2 minutes to redo, if you do it wrong the first time. The metal framing of the drawers make them very sturdy and the wooden top shelf is very beautiful! I am using this in an entryway and am ordering another for the kitchen. I am so pleased that I may order the chest of drawers that match as well.
