Bathroom Shelving

How do you use bathroom furniture to create a functional space that is also soothing, colorful, and all your own? Bathroom shelving. Shelves provide needed storage space while they create an open, airy look -- the perfect addition to any bathroom decor.
Open glass-shelving is the best way to create an inviting, contemporary design in your bathroom. The fittings and supports feature various finishes, so you can pick the best one that complements your decor. Wrought-iron bathroom shelves have a traditional, romantic look; the contrast between old-world furniture and soft Egyptian cotton towels is a great way to transform your bathroom into your own soothing private spa. Wire metal-shelves feature clean lines that work especially well in shared and guest bathrooms. Choose a wire shelf with a towel rack bar or hanger hooks to brighten your wall space while providing more storage room. You can also decorate a wire bathroom shelf with a playful motif of colorful soaps and seashells to create a vibrant, but relaxing, atmosphere.
If, on the other hand, you prefer your decor unembellished, or you have bold-colored bathroom shelves that have a look all their own, then use your shelves to hold storage baskets, or use utility chest shelves. By cutting down on the items you display, you can create a quiet, tranquil feel.
As for storage that's tried, true, and traditional, nothing works better than beautifully finished wood bathroom shelves. Find your favorite design in a wall-mounted or floor option. If you're short on space, consider a conservative bathroom shelf that stands over the commode. Then stock your shelves with extra towels, candles, decorative soaps, and aloe plants for the finishing touch.

Poor quality materials. Drill holes not aligned. Using assemby materials as provided makes a wobbly if not falling apart unit. I tried to put it together for three hours, and am pretty experienced in assembling furniture. I sent it back.

We had to take bottom bar out to fit around the toilet, which was an easy fix. The color was a bit lighter than shown and I am planning on spray painting it to match my bathroom. I also will cover the mirror or paint that as well. Overall, not a bad unit.

Purchased blind based on reviews here, plus price was better than elsewhere, such as A.... Was concerned 28" height might be too short but fits perfectly next to the sink of recently remodeled guest bathroom. Shelves are faux marble and have a very slightly amberish tint, easy to wipe clean, stainless legs are not shiny but kind of an industrial finish but all go very nicely in our grey and white bathroom, no problem. Took less than 15 minutes to assemble the parts together and seems very sturdy. The levelers in feet are a nice touch so if floor is slightly uneven it will not tilt around. We fit two bath towels (not super thick ones) on one shelf and hand towels on the second shelf. We thought it was worth the $. Does not look cheap.
