Sturdy rocking cradle
I bought this cradle for our baby (due this coming August) as I don't like the look of the Moses baskets and was worried about the security and safety issues inherent in buying a folding bassinet or one with separate stand. I wanted something for the baby's first few months before going into a full sized crib/cot that has clean lines without being overly modern. I like the idea of a rocker rather than a glider as had read in reviews of other products that the motion is not as soothing to the infant. The mattress is very thin, but as it comes included I can hardly complain and am happy to buy something a little thicker as the baby grows. Yes, the headboard and floorboard are made of pressed wood, but the price is reasonable and it has a few months to air in the nursery to be before the baby arrives and is moved into our bedroom. There is no noticable smell of of paint, I just wanted to be on the safe side. My husband built the cradle in under half an hour and and he is hardly facile wit...

This cradle is terrific!
I am thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. I wasn't sure about ordering this type of thing online, but I'm glad I did. The size is just right. Not too big and not too small. I like the portability of the crade. I don't have any complaints. It was very easy to assemble.

Sturdy Cradle
I love this black cradle. It was so easy to put together and fits well with the other furniture. I'm not due until March so I don't know if the baby will like it, but we shall see. My sister is due at the same time so I think i'll get her one too.

We love this cradle!
I had bought one of these for our son and his wife before their baby was born, and the little one slept in it for every nap and every snooze for the first 8 weeks. They are so happy with it and recommended it to our daughter, who is expecting a baby in a few months, so I bought this one for her. My son-in-law put it together and he said it was incredibly easy. These are beautiful, although they are not "fine furniture". Excellent value and a very useful product.
