How many coils and what gauge.
The bed got here much more quickly than I expected. I had ordered two mattresses at the same time, and although they didn't both arrive on the same truck, I was still happy with the speed of delivery. The universal bed frame that we ordered came with missing parts, so that offering I wasn't very happy with. But Overstock customer service is amongst the best in the industry. So I absolutely would shop with them again....

I bought this bed 8/17/2010 and can't believe we put up with it this long. Worst purchase I have ever made online. To those reading this, never buy a bed online. I learned this the hard way in putting up with it for 3 years. Like other have mention, it made 2 indentations and a big lump in the middle. You could try and rotate all you want but it didn't matter. You can't flip this bed. I didn't even try to seek warranty on this...total waste!Read More
I've had this for year 1year now and I would not have bought it. When someone gets in the bed the whole bed moves. After you get in bed and been in it for a while your side of the bed begins to slant away from the center. Each time you reposition yourself so you are centered on your side of the bed you can't stay put because you are laying on a slant. There is no soft or plushness like you get with some firm mattresses. It's like sleeping on a cheap box spring at a slant. I really dislike it.Read More
It's only been a little over two years since I purchased this mattress set and I'm already looking for a replacement. Within the first year of purchase I had to purchase a topper because it started to sag. There was also a big hump in the middle. This was a poorly made product.Read More
After a very short time the mattress has 2 inch dents in it on both sides. We have rotated and switched sides but it still is terrible. The worst part is that we both travel for work and are away from home almost half the month. I can't imagine what it would look like if we slept in it every night! We are currently trying to get the warranty to replace it!Read More

I was just a little worried about ordering a mattress set on line but since we ALWAYS get a firm mattress due to my husband's bad back, and having been very satisfied with previous OverStock purchases, I decided to give it a try. Another happy ending in our OverStock purchase adventures. It was worth the 3 week wait for delivery and met our high expectations. Topped with a 2 inch memory foam topper, this mattress provides all the support my husband needs for his tender back and yet gives me that comfort for tender joints that I desire. I also noted the "life time manufacturers" warranty on this set compared to the 10 year warranty offered by other mattress manufacturers. Icing on the cake was the tag on the delivered mattress set saying it was manufactured for Bassett by Sealy Mattress Manufacturing. I would recommend this mattress to my friends for sure.Read More
This mattress boke down in less than three months. It is a king size bed and if you want to get to the other side of the bed you have to roll over a hump in the middle and back into a pocket on the other side. It is made by Sealy and is junk.Read More
This mattress looked great and was very comfortable for such a short time! We have this not even a year and the mattress is sagging were my husband and I sleep. We have rotated it many times but now there is a big bulge in the middle! Do not buy! We have always been pleased with our purchases from Overstock but not this time.Read More
Great product...it is a firm matress set, but cushioned enough for tender pressure points. We are VERY satisfied with this purchase. Delivery was prompt and convenient (+/- 2 weeks).Read More
Looked for a long time for the perfect "deal" on the the best quality I can find to replace an old saggy mattress. I found it!! No more back aches, tossing and turning in the night and waking up exhausted. This is a firm mattress. For those who might be looking for a little cushion, this is not the one. I am a side sleeper and have no problem sleeping on my side although it is firm and say that side sleepers need less firm mattresses. The only reason that I gave it a 4 instead of 5 start rating is because it seems to be very hot. I don't know if it is the top layer of padding that keeps you very warm or not. I am one that does not care for the added warmth factor. Overall the mattress is great and I am very glad that I found the quality product for the money. Thank you Overstock for providing a quality product and building the trust in knowing that I can count on finding what I need here.Read More

Best Reasons to Have a California King Bed
Similar in size to a standard king bed, a California king bed is four inches longer, allowing a lot of extra room top to bottom. A California king bed measures 72 inches wide and 84 inches long, and a standard king mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long, so while a California king mattress is four inches longer, it is also about four inches thinner than a standard king bed. Making a decision between the two might be difficult. Ultimately, both are great options, but there are a few conditions that might make a California king size bed the clear choice. Before you pick which king mattress is right for you, here are a few of the best reasons to choose a California king bed.
How to Pick a Pillow
Even if you have a top-of-the-line mattress and an 800 thread count sheet set, your bed is not likely to be comfortable without the right pillow tucked under your cheek. Nothing ruins a good night's sleep like a bad pillow. Unfortunately, it's easy to underestimate the value of a good pillow. Not only do good pillows add aesthetic value to your bed, but they can also be the difference between a restful night or an aching back and neck. Pillows come in different shapes, sizes and firmness. Take a look below to learn how to pick a pillow.

Like the rest of your baby furniture, you want your crib mattress to be the very best, and that means buying a firm mattress for your baby. Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
How to Select a Box Spring
Many people underestimate the importance of a good box spring, but as the foundation of the bed, it can be just as vital to the comfort of your mattress set as the mattress. Before purchasing a box spring, it's necessary to think about size, quality and value, as well as comfort. The right box spring can make or break a mattress purchase, so shop wisely and take the time to select the box spring that's right for your bed. To select a box spring, good research and patient shopping are the keys to success.
Best Reasons to Buy Firm Baby Crib Mattresses
When you're shopping for baby crib mattresses, safety should always come first. A soft mattress may make sleeping more comfortable for you, but the same could be hazardous, even deadly, for your infant. Baby crib mattresses should be firm -- as firm as possible -- to keep your little one safe during the night or daytime naps. You may be tempted towards the soft baby crib mattresses for your child, thinking that he'll be more comfortable. Babies, however, don't need the same joint support as adults, but they do need baby crib mattresses that reduce the risk of harm from their baby furniture while they sleep. There are many reasons to buy a firm baby mattress, and the following tips can help you determine what to look for.
How to Dry Foam Mattress Pads
On top of your current mattress, mattress pads add comfort without costing you a fortune. A new mattress pad will make your bed feel brand new and offer support that your bed may be lacking due to years of use. Foam mattress pads come in different sizes to fit different mattress sizes. When accidents happen, such as spilled water, or when you need to spot clean, understanding how to dry a foam mattress pad is important. Read through this article to learn how to dry foam mattress pads.
Popular Sizes of Pillow Tops
Do you have an uncomfortable mattress that needs replacing? Your health, energy, and happiness rely on the quality of sleep you get, and a stiff or uncomfortable mattress can get in the way of a good night's rest. Pillow top mattresses make increasing comfort easy. If you're shopping for the best mattress, you'll want to learn about the most popular sizes of pillow tops.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.
FAQs about your Latex Mattress
If you're looking to upgrade to a latex mattress or have already bought one, you may have a few questions. Often used to replace innersprings in a mattress's core and provide a base for memory foam mattress toppers, latex mattresses are gaining popularity because their unique elastic properties provide a firm sleeping surface that conforms to your unique body shape. This guide will answer frequently asked questions about your latex mattress and provide you with all the information you need to become acquainted with this new bedding trend.

You may not believe it, but your twin mattresses can be your biggest ally when redecorating a bedroom. Twin mattresses might seem exceptionally plain, but with a few additional design elements, they can be transformed into bold twin beds with style. As the smallest of the mattress sizes, twin mattresses remain versatile and can be used in many different rooms. Incorporate twin mattresses and beds into the bedrooms of children or young adults. Two twin beds can also be used for extra bedding in a guest bedroom. Don't forget that these mattresses come in both regular size and in an extra-long size for taller sleepers.
