The shelves arrived quickly and no assembly required. The frame appears to be sturdy. I'm not crazy about the light colored composite shelves that the baskets sit on. A darker color and real wood would really enhance this piece. The baskets appear sturdy as well, although the fabric liners are a bit thin and chintzy looking. All in all this is a great, esthetically pleasing way to store files and a great alternative to ugly metal filing cabinets. Seems like it would blend well with any type of decor.

I love these baskets! I have them in my bathroom on a lower vanity shelf and they look beautiful along with my "zen" decor. As other reviewers noted, the sizes may differ from what the description reads. Mine are 14" l x 10" w x 7 1/2" h. They are primarily a warm brown like, well, dried grass, with a very subtle pretty green tinge. The only downside is that they require airing because they smell like old cut grass. It's not unpleasant, but with six of them in my bathroom the smell can overwhelm the room. I would put them outside for a day before using. At less than $**** apiece, they're a fantastic value. I'm trying to find other places in the house to use them so I can buy more!

These baskets go great on a shelf in my kitchen. They are nice and big and dark brown. They look great with my green walls!

I bought these baskets for a shelf in my bathroom and i LOVE THEM! they're great looking, very functional and sturdy. I had a hard time finding lidded baskets so when I found these I snatched them up right away and am so glad I did! Great buy.

Received these just in time for my project. I am building a custom bathroom vanity that will have only shelves. No drawers or doors. The baskets will be my contemporary approach to storage. They look very nice and good quality

These baskets are very high quality and nice. I have some built-in shelves in my bathroom that I've put them on. They look great! I highly recommend these. You won't be disappointed!

the quality of these baskets are horrendous. They smell awful and the dye or dirt, can't tell what it is, came off all over my wood shelves. These are of the poorest quality I have ever seen. Would NOT recommend at all!!

These sturdy fabric bins fit nicely on a shelf but hide the cluttered look.

very good for decluttering a small apartment - one for magazines, one for a shelf, one for my desk. i may buy another set or two for closet organization.

It wobbles and the shelving is a cheap looking laminate in a light color which does not match the dark iron. I like the baskets and the iron work, even though it doesn't sit right but the shelves are just too ugly. I'm using the baskets in separately. It's over priced for the qualtiy.

I needed specific sized baskets for my built in shelves; all the baskets I found were much more expensive. I'm using these to house my toddlers toys and didn't want to spend a ton. They are exactly what I thought I ordered based on the product description.

I really like this product & get compliments on it. I wanted something different & this was it. The only thing I didn't like is that I had to assemble the shelves but there were not enough screws. When I open the box they were loose inside the packaging. But overall, this is really nice. I like that I can take the basket off the shelf & bring it to my desk when I need to go through the files - makes it convenient.

Looks great, perfect size for the spot I had in mind. Shelf material could be nicer. However, my standard file folders are just a tiny bit too small, so don't fit on the hangers... but, of course, legal size are too big (didn't expect them to fit, but a little curious as to what size DOES fit). Perhaps this one is just off specs? It's the baskets, not the stand.

These replaced some 8 year old baskets that hold various foods on my open pantry shelves. I am impressed with their reinforced sturdiness and their elegant appearance. Yes, there is a faint seagrass odor, but I enjoy being taken back to lovely, lazy beach vacations! I am very satisfied with the price and quality of this purchase.

Two of these fit perfectly side by side, lengthwise, in those 29.5" wide melamine/formica-covered bookshelves. What's more, you can put file folders and large clasp envelopes in them as if they are file cabinet drawers. Who knew those old melamine shelves could be just as functional and look better than lots of file cabinets!

Overall its a great purchase. A little bit smaller and shorter than I had anticipated, but overall the shelf fully carries out its duty. Wishes that the drawers were a bit wider and deeper. On first recieving the product and taking out of the box, on the sides, it showed to be dusty and a few nicks here and there, but nothing noticeable at all. Just wiped it off with a damp cloth! Overall a great purchase tho. Designer look and practically combined! So great price for the product.

They're very easy to assemble but if you plan to store small items, the edges inside tend to have a gap. They served my purpose and fit neatly in the middle shelf of my coffee table. Has surely taken care of a lot of clutter. One more thing, they do have an odd smell but it does go away.

I ordered two of these baskets to go on a ladder shelf I also purchased at Overstock. One arrived in perfect condition, and one had a major dent from shipping. I was able to (somewhat) bend it back into place, but it's not perfect. As one reviewer mentioned, they are somewhat smelly when they first arrive, but the smell is no longer noticeable after a week or so. On the "pro" side: they are deep and roomy, and very attractive. They can hold about 6+ regular sized bath towels, so they fit the bill for what I needed. I wish I ordered 2 more, but they're sorta pricey.

Spent too long trying to have the holes in the bracket align with the shelf supports. Clearly, the holes for the screw/bold assembly were out of place in every combination we tried to secure them. We ended up having the rack spot-welded by our local mechanic to secure the brackets in place. Only then did it become a functional unit; it certainly would have been useless if we didn't have that means to overcome the misaligned holes. The size of this is a bit deeper front to back than I imagined but I'm currently using this rack to hold root vegetables in my kitchen. The top basket (smallest) easily holds two bags of large ontions (3 lbs each) with room to spare; I use the second basket to hold about 8-10 lbs of weet potatoes and the lower basket holds about another 5 lbs worth of white potatoes. I think this would be a great additon for storage for many uses and because it is a sturdy piece - even the baskets are well made and sturdy and don't flake or snap into pieces over weighted items, this should hold up quite a while. I plan to seal the baskets to protect from stains (-- may be a cute idea to paint or detail somehow, but I like the natural look so far). so they hold their original color over time.

I was worried about the color of these baskets as it appeared my my screen to have somewhat greenish or almost aqua tone. Not to worry. They are a lovely warm natural dried grass kind of brown with just a tiny hint of green here and there. Assembly was absurdly simple. :) The measurements are a problem though. Looking back at the description, I see now that they give two different sets of measurements. :( Still .... instead of 11L x 8W x 7D or even 13.5L x 9.5H x 7W as described, mine measure 13.75L x 9.75W x 7.25H. In my situation, those extra few inches means the difference between 2 of them sitting neatly side by side on my 7" shelves or not.
Many people give their decorative accessories a place to shine by putting them on niches, cupboards, and shelves. However, they may overlook one of the ideal spots for showcasing their favorite decorative accessories: the top of a bookshelf. Whether it's a tall corner shelf or a lower modular piece, the surface on top of a bookshelf offers a flat area to arrange art, vases, framed photos, baskets, statues, and sculptures.
