We live in a small space so this sofa seemed perfect. The scale in depth is less than our previous sectional and there is great storage under the seat. I agree with another review that says there is often times a subtle crinkle type noise that happens when you get up from sitting on it. If you like a deep couch that you can sink into this isn't a model for you. The backs are movable so all seats can have a back but if you want to do a corner seat one chair will not have a back so it would be left as an ottoman.
