  • This product was not 96 inches long

This curtain rod was nearly a foot shorter than stated, the box also stated it was 96 inches long and it was actually closer to 80 inches. I exchanged it and the same issue.

  • Expensive and not that friendly.

Since the rods screw into the wall, you need a screwdriver if you want to take the drapes off. I have no problems with this but I think it was kind of pricey for what I received. But that's what happens when you shop late at night on the internet....

  • Perfect match for my blackout curtains!

I purchased blackout curtains that are 108" long so I was originally concerned that this rod would hold the weight. It comes with a middle bracket and works great. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and appearance of this rod and my new blackout curtains and may buy them for more rooms.

  • Nice Rod

The rod is strong and looks very nice. It came with a support bracket for the middle but the rod was strong enough that we didn't need to put it up. I liked it so much that I purchased two additional rods in different sizes to replace some of my older curtain rods in my home. Excellent buy.

  • Works well

Does what it's supposed to. Even with Overstock pricing, it seemed expensive, especially when you realize the finish is painted on - but I couldn't find this style of rod any cheaper and it works great. The curtain curves around and lays flat on the wall. Added bonus that you have some adjustment capability (up to one additional inch) on the depth of the rod from the wall.

  • Curtain rods

I got the antique bronze and it's a nice contrast to the white linen curtains I purchased. They look great in a modern, industrial, eclectic or tradition style room. Hard to get out of box but they were well protected during shipping. Easy install. They allow curtains to cover the space between the rod and wall because they curve back into the wall. They look great with the curtain open or closed. This is a new favorite for me. Don't think I will go back to regular straight rods again.

Best drapery rods on the market. So easy to install, no missing parts easy instructions.

  • Works Excellent

This is the best concept for a curtain rod. I was unsure if this design would look a little odd, but it looks fine. You wouldn't even notice there are no finials. But it is so nice to be able to pull curtains flush against wall for both energy efficiency as well as to keep out light. Also gives more room to pull curtains to the side. And I also have a patio window that is pretty close to the wall, so a finial curtain rod doesn't fit well. Very happy with decision.

Do you have an end bracket that attaches to the wall that will give a deeper projection? The specs state 4.5 to 5.5 inches of projection but that is the outside projection not the inside projection. I am trying to cover vertical blinds. carolinny1 on Apr 6, 2015

I picked this rod one so my blackout curtains will block out all the light. Two the projection length can be increased. I live in an appt with vertical blinds already hung. If I do not have at least 5" of projection the curtains will not fall correctly. Janey H. on Apr 7, 2015

Hello ahllpn, it really depends on the weight of your drapes. The rule of them is a rod 8 feet or more should have a center supporting bracket. Thank you for shopping with us. Rochelle B overstockcustomercare2 on Sep 24, 2014

Yes, the round piece flush mounts to the wall with two screws, and then the curved rod will slip onto that and be held in place with a small screw. poepourri on Aug 7, 2014

Hello lad, the reviews will give you a good indication of how strong this curtain rod is. Unfortuantely, Overstock does not weight test items, so we don't have a weight capacity. The rods have been used for blackout curtains before. We hope this helps, and thank you for shopping with us. overstockcustomercare1 on May 23, 2014

if I understand your question - the 1" rod's curved ends fit tightly around the 2"l (approx) rod/disc you attach to the wall - this is not a 'cantilever' bracket w/wiggle room so it's a very good connection…. think of the 'elbow joint' of a pipe. + the rods have small screws at the top to tighten against this rod/disk bracket. also, the center support necessary for longer installations is easy to attach (in a similar fashion as the end brackets) & makes a very secure support. lafcadiohearn on Jul 9, 2014
