I am embarrassed by this lamp and the matching one I purchased together. It's so ugly. I couldn't tell by the pictures on here that there are several patterns going on. There is a hideous fake marble ball above the "gold" leaf pattern, above the pineapple looking hunk at the bottom of the poll. The shades in particular are terrible. There is a gold embroidered ribbon around the top and bottom that looks like something from a bad crafts fair. The workmanship itself is fine and the lamps work well for light. I've since replaced the shades with plain, cream ones and moved them into a less viewed room. Ah, well. At such a low price, I was hoping for a great deal. I'm afraid this wasn't worth half the low cost.

I bought this for my counseling office. I was very pleased when it arrived. It is an attractive, well-made lamp. The shade in particular looks very expensive. It is heavy and will not be knocked over easily. The workmanship is sturdy and attractive. I would recommend it.

It fit my space perfectly, the gold lining on the shade matched my chair and it was still subtle. I spray painted the marble black to match lamp base. I did not like the marble after receiving the lamp. It was a good buy for the money.

We absolutely love our new lamp. Quick delivery and very easy to assemble. Would definately recommend this lamp. It is a perfect fit and color for our family room
