These chairs measured exactly to height. Color true to picture, easy to assemble if you had 3 hands. May need 2 people. I found prescrewed holes were still difficult to screw, screws in, had to get a male with more man power to complete the job. Perfect for outside tiki feel.

They look great behind my counter but I can tell won't last long. Very fragile and seat is so soft in material prone to breaking. I imagine as soon as I have a normal size male sit on them wearing jeans with some buttons on back pockets that will be the end of these chairs :(

Seats on the barstool are small. Average male would want a larger seat. Packaging is not good. Barstools are just placed in the box with nothing but plastic wrapped around them. Most of the boxes I received were cut open by the stool itself. I am assuming this happened during the shipment. I ordered 8 and one stool had a broken piece. Rubber on bottom of stool (floor side) was not completely glued on all the stools. I am keeping the barstools since they will not get much use and the appearance is nice. The adjustable feature works nice too.

The bar stools are very nice looking, very sleek and modern, easy to assemble. The stools feel very heavy and the metal is a nice brushed stainless finish which is great. Here are the pros and cons of this product in my opinion; - Aesthetics are top notch (expensive look, full leather, nice metal work etc) - Very easy to assemble - Good variations of height - Cant find better looks for the price Now; - The seat height at highest point is around 30/31 inches, but the damper effect (hydraulic cylinder) drops that by at least 2 inches. - The seats are very heavy and set on a square base, which is good if you are just sitting on them without considering tucking yourself under a bar or table for example, then repositioning this stool with your self is a very difficult task to say the least. - Feels unsturdy when at the maximum height if you are on the heavy side. I weight around 190 pounds and I was scared to bow the single stem of the stool do to the stool being at full extension and being a little wobbly. If you intend to use these at lower bar heights it maybe ok, but the moving of these is so difficult it is hard to expect anyone to do it, and I am a young fit male, my fiance couldnt even attempt it, she needed to put the stool in place, swivel the seat and twist herself into the right position. If returned all of the stools I bought - I need 4 legs after experiencing this set up of stool. The only problem is, finding a stool that looks like this stool with 4 legs in stainless steel and leather will cost me around double or triple per seat.

Some assembly is required. The assembly is easy, though you will want to find an alternative to the itty-bitty wrench provided with the stools. I bought these to replace some larger, heavy bar chairs that occupied too much room in the passageway. These small stools are the perfect size to tuck under and out of the way. The solid wood base provides a sturdy stool that will hold a hefty adult male easily. The rotating seat make getting on and off easy. Very happy.

I needed stools for the marble kitchen counter at my new place. It's the first thing you see when you enter our cabin so they had to look good. We looked around online and in stores. For the prices I saw in stores and the quality and comfort I found, I was beginning to think I couldn't find what I wanted - something sturdy and the right height (counter not bar), the right look (expensive looking but not too actually pricey, I had a whole room to furnish) and the right material (cat claw- and spill-proof). These arrived quickly and they looked really nice, even in pieces. I put them together myself, and I'm a busy career woman with little patience for do-it-yourself home stuff. The little kit that came with it was great, especially the small screwdriver for tight places. On the advice of a male friend, I added wood glue to the assembly. I did them both in less than 2 hours, but I'm a newbie so I'm sure someone else could do it faster. They are sturdy and I often sit on them for hours to work on my laptop on the counter - exactly what I needed. I can sit on them facing forward or throw my leg over either side and be perfectly comfy. They tuck neatly under my counter and look gorgeous. Friends have raised their eyebrows when they saw them, like they were really expensive, until I said "Overstock, at a great price!" Highly recommend them if you need counter stools.

We got these chairs a couple weeks ago. They are exactually as described on the computer. I love the color! We use our stools on a daily basis. There are 3 of us. 130 pound female, 160 pound male teenager, 250 pound husband. They work and look awesome! My only complaint would be the set-up. It took me and my husband 1.5 hours to put these together. The tool that they send with would have taken us 5 hours to put together. We have a drill with the bit that worked well. My husband is very much a handi-man, but someone who is not, it would take a long time to put together.

This was one of the more expensive bar stools I saw on the website so my expectations were higher. 1. It is very easy to assemble 2. The leather and metal look like good quality 3. It came with plastic protector already on the bottom so it wont scratch my hardwood floors 4. It swivels a full 360 degrees and raises/ lowers easily ( makes it perfect fit for my 4 year old) 5. Only reason I gave it 4 stars, is this chair is not robust enough for a large adult male to sit in. I would say if you are over 6 feet and 250 pounds, this is not for you.

I have been looking for bar stools for a while and not finding anything in the stores. I purchased the walnut stained ones. They went well with my woodwork. These stools are very well made and sturdy. However, my daughter and I were not able to put them together. We had to enlist the help of a male friend with a drill. This was the only drawback to these stools, thus the one star rating for ease of assembly.
