Manufacturing Defects, Mediocre Quality Wood
This product had two central manufacturing defects which greatly lessened the value of the product. On the first step of assembly, it became readily apparent that the wrong size holes were drilled on Piece 3, which necessitated going to Home Depot to buy a drill and special metric drill bit to make that size hole match the corresponding hole on Pieces 1 and 2 where the wooden dowel fits between them. The second defect involved the bottom of the top cabinet on which the doors slide. The manufacturer drilled the hole so off center that when a screw was inserted into the hole that the wood cracked, as it was too close to the wood piece's edge. All in all, I would estimate that this product is overvalued by about 100%; it should be half its price, even if the manufacturing defects were corrected. Not impressed.
