Very useful
I had a conventional type rolling pin made of heavy marble, and when that broke I kept forgetting to buy a new one, so every time I made a pie I would resort to using a wine bottle to roll out the pie crust. I was so happy to finally receive this one! The only reason I did not give this rolling pin 5 stars is that it is not terribly heavy. I was used to my marble pin, but wanted something that flour would cling to (very importatn), and this one is great in that respect. I also like the fact that it is longer than the average rolling pin. The shape is nice, too; if you are used to the conventional-type with handles, don't hesitate to try this one.

Good weight rolling pin perfect for rolling cookies or pastry.I like the longer than average length of this rolling pin, also. Coated with flour, I have not had any problems with sticking. I have been very pleased with this item.
