Good value, but small chairs
For the PRICE, these tables are GREAT. We needed to sit six to eight people in a small cabin. So, we purchased two tables and this gives us a lot of flexibility as to configuration. The packing of the product is very well done. No damage to the product even though the weight of the table/chair is significant. The color and thickness of the bamboo is also very nice. The negative has to do with the size of the chairs. They are on the small size and when put together they reminded us of elementary school chairs. Not sure that a large person would be comfortable sitting in them. They also seem low to the ground vs. normal chairs. But, since they are in a cabin and only get used for 3-4 days at a time, it's not a big deal. Suggest you measure the height you want and compare to the product ... and know that the chair looks and feels small.

Easy but not perfect
The table went together easy-breezy. The chairs took a bit more effort, but came together with a few hours of effort. It's a sharp looking table, with a good sturdy feel. It really makes the dining area look more homey. Not all of the joints fit seemlessly, and I had to loosen, shimmy, and retighten quite a few pieces to get the last slat to fit in properly. In one chair, I figured a gap was worth my sanity. It's structurally stable, I just won't be flipping the chairs upside down to show off my handiwork!

I am very pleased with the Bamboo 5-piece dining set. The table and chairs were very easy to put together. This table is best used for a small kitchen or dining area. The quality of the table and chairs is good. Also, a good table and chairs if you have little kids. You can fit 6 people around the table if needed.

Good table for the price
Decent quality, though there are some rough parts/defects in the wood. It was not 100%, but close enough. For the price, it's great and does the trick - a solid table with four (somewhat smaller than expected) chairs.

Excellent value for the money
Product arrived with all hardware required to assemble. If you've ever ordered furniture online, then you know how rare this is. Instructions were clear and assembly was painless. Chairs are smaller than I expected but still able to accommodate my 200+ pound frame. All in all, I'm very pleased with this product which fits my small dining area perfectly.

Kind of small, but sturdy
This is a perfect table for a small apartment. My only recommendation would be to build it with two people. I didn't have a power drill, so the whole thing took me about 4 hours to build solo.

Disappointed
Although I have been putting furniture together for years, this was the worst I have ever dealt with. The pre-drilled holes were improperly sized for the screws. Only one Allen wrench was listed on the parts list and it was fortunate that my package included a second one of a different size which I did, indeed, need. There were over 260 pieces of hardware simply thrown into the box and I had to sort, count and determine, which parts were which. Separate packing and marking would have saved me quite some time. Fortunately, the 65 table parts were marked, though one of the legs is shorter than the rest and one of the seats had a bit of a split in it. I would not recommend this kitchen set.

Great product, great customer service
I received this product in quick time. One of the seats were cracked in half, so I called the customer service line and spoke to a gentlemen who was so professional that it took away my frustration of the product being damaged. He was very courteous and was willing to take care of the situation right away. The seat arrived 4 days later. The product is very nice and is not too hard to put together. It took me about 2 hours to put together the chairs and table all by myself. I would definitely recommend this product, especially with the price. Overstock.com customer service has made me a repeat customer due to their professional and willlingness to help.

Perfect
We are really enjoying our table set. The wood is a good quality, and the whole thing was not too hard to put together. It is very sturdy, and I think it will be a nice addition to our first house for a good many years.

I had some issues with this product
Where to start...I purchased this set even after questionable reviews posted for the product and pretty much everything people stated in the reviews was true. I had pieces crack and screws break. I contacted customer services and they were helpful, however, the replacement parts got lost somewhere in the process so I ended up just receiving a partial credit for one chair I had the problem with. Speaking of chairs, they were a nightmare to put together. My husband had a terrible time with them and ended up having to do some drilling and replacement of screws. Once the set is together, it doesn't look bad for the money. It is small though so if you are tall or large, you may want to select a different set. I am also not real confident in how long the chairs will last, they do not seem to be of the best quality. But it is together so we will use it for now.
