I questioned whether this would be a good table but I am pleased so far...The table arrive faster than expected and was not as heavy as I feared since mahogany is a hard wood. This is different maogany than the usual hardwood available. The color is a brighter red and gold tone. I used a varnish sealer recommended for outdoor furniture. It has two coats and needs more after it is sanded down again. The varnish brought to the surface several rough areas...Overall it works better than any of the metal and glass tables available on the market.

Assembly was very easy. The table looks just as on the picture, not as nice as a $700 teak table, but a very good value. We had it only for 1 week so we can't judge durability, but the construction is good, it feels solid. We're overall very happy with it and would recommend it.

Fantastic Table. Please note though, the sizes listed for the Balthazar product line (including this table) reflect the size of the box it is shipped in, not the size of the item itself, so all the of the items are a little bit smaller (table is 59" L x 31" W for example). The smaller size worked out well for me, but I thought it might pose a problem for others. Otherwise, it is a great table at a great price. Looks even better after it has been oiled.

We ordered the table late in the season, so I can't vouch yet for the durability, but we've been loving it so far. It was easy to put together-- I was able to do it by myself. It's sturdy and will seat more than 4 very comfortably. I only wish the matching chairs were less expensive!

The table was exactly as pictured and the perfect size for my needs. Could not find anything else like it for the price. I don't use the table all the time, but it seems quite sturdy. I put it together in a few minutes. I am thrilled with this table.
