Bought this for my backyard to go with 4 mahogany chairs that I had purchased at another store. They are a perfect match! I love the size of this table, so much roomier than your typical round patio table. Got it just in time for a party where I had it set up on my courtyard (I live in New Orleans). The weather was perfect, and I saw many of my guests comfortably seated at the table throughout the night. I'm going to paint it with some water seal in hopes that it will keep it's rich color just a bit longer with our typical rain here. And even more importantly, assembly was an absolute breeze!!!!! Very well-made. Looks far more expensive than what I paid!

I bought this table with two chairs and a bench in 2009 The table went together without any problem as all hardware was present. The table is sturdy but if you use an umbrella, be sure the base is very weighted as the table is lightweight. As expected, the table has faded to a weathered color. This table is kept outdoors and is exposed to sea spray and New England temperatures and has held up quite well. This spring, 2012, I am going to power wash the table and give it a sealant coat to protect it from drying out and splitting. The table seats four comfortable and can seat six people if need be. I like the style because the legs never get in the way and it is not oversized. I would buy this table again in a heartbeat.

This is a nice little table. It arrived broken, but I'm exchanging it because it really is great for our space and the price. It's a little on the orange side. I may try to stain it. I will stay that it takes about 5 minutes to assemble if you have a socket wrench. If I can get one to arrive that's in good shape, I'd recommend it.

Beautiful wood table. This was bought as a gift for my daughter and she just loves it. She keeps it outside and it looks wonderful in the yard.

I did not have room for a standard sized table for 6 on my deck, at least I didn't if I wanted people to be able to walk around it. The dimensions on this are perfect for my small space. It is a small table, but sturdy and good looking. And it was a fourth of what a teak table would cost. So far it is holding up in all kinds of weather. If it is ruined over the winter, I would likely buy another. At this price? Why not?

Once again just a nice little table. Easy assembly.

Nice looking table at a very reasonable price (actually ordered from a different site, thus it could be that we got a "counterfeit" piece, but I doubt that), BUT: The wood is not hardwood, fairly thin, very rough (needed immediate sanding and oiling to not warp or mold in the rain and still got black spots), and the workmanship is mediocre, leaving distances between the wood pieces hard to treat. Since tghe wood is fairly thin and the connections between the different pieces not great, the entire table is not sturdy at all, it gets out of its recangular shape when you try to move it by pushing. The slats are thin enough to probably break when you lean on them (which I have successfully tried to avoid so far). They are also rough as is normal for inferior, not well treated wood, so I had to sand them and use teak oil right after the purchase, otherwise they would have even more quickly deteriorated than gthey do anyway. I guess, you get what you pay for, as always!

Very nice table and very easy to assemble. It seats 6 people comfortably. Nice color and it is durable. it had a small dent on it when it came but, it is not easy to notice. Overall very useful and good looking.

Great table, comfortable dimensions. Legs could perhaps be a little more substantial, they seem to be a little skinny. Still, overall a good product !

Not sure why it was taking so long for some of the reviewers to put this together. All you do is screw the legs onto the table portion. Good and sturdy, was somewhat dented when arrived- would have given product a 4 star if arrived undented. Serves its purpose outside to cover a grassy area on the patio for our small dog to use the restroom in the rain and snow.

I read the mixed reviews on this table before purchasing it. This is a great table for the price. Assembly was so easy a monkey could have done it. I did it alone in about ten minutes. Tools and hardware are included which makes it super simple. The table feels solid, it's a great size for seating four people, and it's attractive. Because the wood isn't treated and I'm using the table outside, I plan to use an oil or sealer of some type to protect the wood, which, by the way, isn't mahogany. I knew that before I ordered because of the reviews others had written. The color is a little too orange, but I'm sure it will be fine as it fades in the sun. The table also works great with my 9' umbrella. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this table.

The first table arrived broken and a replacement was sent out but it took awhile since there was also a broken bench with our order...We did finally receive the replacement although not in time for my 3 yr old's birthday party which wasn't the main reason for the purchase but certainly a contributing factor. After a couple of months the replacement table is fading and pitting black all over, overall the item is poor quality and I would not recommend chancing it. At the end of the day we saw a set at our local ***** on sale for about $**** a month after this ordeal was over and would have been better off with that. Will probably try there next year when we have to replace this eyesore since the chairs are shabby and cracking already...Customer service was fantastic throughout the process so we will definitely order from Overstock again, just not patio furniture.

This table was the perfect size for my not so large deck! Found this table on other websites for $100 more plus S&H.

Decent table for the money. Was able to call overstock to determine that no factory finish has been applied to this table. Was able to put it together quickly and deepen the orange tone by adding wood stain and preserver. Out of the box it's really orange. I ordered 2 tables because another reviewer suggested the tables were smaller than the posted dimensions and they truly are. Measurements posted reflect the packaging size and yes - the packaging is nuts. For an eco friendly product more concern should have been shown by reducing the amount of cardboard used to pack this. All in all I'm satisfied and hope to get a few solid years out of this.

This product was very easy to put together and looks beautiful

I needed a table for my 15th floor terrace in Miami. it needed to dry off quickly (rains come and go with little notice here), it had to be wind resistant, it had to be durable, and hopefully, eco-friendly. So the Balthazar seemed to fit the bill. And mostly because it is a crazy good price. That said, you do get what you pay for. the quality of the mahogany (really? more like orange-dyed balsa wood) is low. Certainly not a grade of wood I'm used to in my architectural renos. And the table is surprisingly lightweight. Good mahog. is never light. The slats that make up the top are cut thin (maybe 1/2") so you wont be dancing on this one. And I doubt it will actually be rot resistant for that long. The finish is so bright orange that I cannot wait for it to begin to fade in the Florida sun to a slightly more palatable grey. If it doesnt fade, I may stain it a bit greyer, which may help protect it too. But its a good clean design. Nothing offensive. Assembly was a snap (5 minutes, tool required came with it) and most of that was spent wrestling it out of its layers of cardboard packaging. Its a perfect size and a month later, Im still glad I bought it. Lets see how I feel in a year?

The wood was not properly dried on these tables resulting in several legs being warped and one of the slats in the top broken and lifted up about a half inch. Very cheap quality.
