We ordered the table late in the season, so I can't vouch yet for the durability, but we've been loving it so far. It was easy to put together-- I was able to do it by myself. It's sturdy and will seat more than 4 very comfortably. I only wish the matching chairs were less expensive!

The table was exactly as pictured and the perfect size for my needs. Could not find anything else like it for the price. I don't use the table all the time, but it seems quite sturdy. I put it together in a few minutes. I am thrilled with this table.

Having read the other reviews, I was a little tentative about buying this table. However, it is well made and it looks great on my deck (like others, I coated it with teak oil while assembling). It could make you a little worried as the assembly bolts are few ... but unless you have a bunch of kids messing with your porch furniture, this is attractive and will last many years.

The table looks really nice. The wood color is really pretty, not sure about durability, but will probably last a long time if you maintain with oil. For the price, in my opinion it is a much smarter buy than getting a teak table. A teak table this size will cost at least three times more, and for that price, if this one needs replacement you can replace a couple of times and still not spend more than for a teak table. I was debating getting an expandable table, but it also cost a lot more, so I think I will get a second table and put it side to side when I need the seeting for a lot of people, and when I don't or have a party, I can use it as a side table to put food on, etc. Totally recommended, it is a smart buy.

By now, if you've read the reviews you have figured out that it's Eucalyptus, not the wood stated. It is also smaller than their dimensions. I agonized about the size. Finally decided to buy it. Bought it Monday night and had it Friday. BUT it is only 31" across. It states 34" and I was hesitant because that seemed kinda narrow. There is NO room in the middle for anything. It will seat 6 if you also have someplace to sit the food? I'll use teak oil, and put casters on it and I think it should last, but I wish the description had been correct.

the table delivered is slightly different than the picture... the slats on top run in the opposite direction. also, the box is labeled eucalyptus, not mahogany.despite this, the table is easy to put together and seems pretty sturdy. i am happy with the purchase, but not sure why there is a discrepancy in the description.

I love this table and it was easy to put together. I used a socket wrench instead of the tool provided and it took less than 10 minutes to assemble. I had no problem with the sizes of the holes matching up with the screws and the legs are not wobbly. I notice that the price is going up and I only wish I had bought the matching chairs which I don't see offered anymore. I am considering buying the bench which the price also seems to be rising.

My Balthazar rectangular table came in. I was immediately caught off guard because on the outside box packaging it read "Material: FSC Eucalyptus" and NOT Mahogany Shorea as noted in the Overstock description. As such, I was immediately anxious of what the box held inside.Fortunately, the product looks to be satisfactory given the alteranate wood used. Eucaplytus is also "weather resistant" apparently.Construction is decent given this price point. It's basically four legs that have to be manually screwed in/bolted to the table top, using the screws and wrench that were provided. Assembly should take no more than 20 minutes for even the most unhandy person.Wood is slightly redder than teak.

This table took longer to get out of it's excellent packaging than it did to assemble it. No problems with construction or workmanship - very, very pleased - added 2 coats of tung oil for protection which definitely gave the table a more finished look. Price seems to be going up.

The table was exactly what I expected it to be. A rectangular table with four straight legs. The legs are a little wobbly. They are connected to the table with two bolts per leg. Construction was very simple, my 11 year old son built the table in about ten minutes. For the price and the size of the table I guess I was expecting a little better quality. I am happy with the tables and I am keeping them. I bought two and have them lined up end to end for one long table. We'll see how long they hold up.

This table arrived quickly and in great condition. It was quick and easy to assemble, requiring only the legs screwed on to the top. The size is perfect for seating six people comfortably. The table is beautiful and the wood quality is very good. The only thing that I did to insure that it would handle the outdoor elements and retain its beauty was to rub it down with teak oil. I highly recommend this table.

The table arrived at a very good speed, there was no delay in the shipping as with other sites, however; The table itself is very sturdy and the instructions to assemble somewhat handy but the wormanship leaves a little to be desired. The hardware needed some work to get the latches to function and one was installed fully incorrectly; the legs were a bit warped and I had to resort to clamping to get the attachment screws to draw them up, should one not have access to good tooling and skills to do this it may be more than they bargained for. Fully assembled and reaplication of an oil finish and the table is fine for rough environment use.

This table was delivered promptly. My teenage sons put it together in minutes, applied tung oil and it looks beautiful. Excellent quality and super price. I am very pleased.

Bought this for my backyard to go with 4 mahogany chairs that I had purchased at another store. They are a perfect match! I love the size of this table, so much roomier than your typical round patio table. Got it just in time for a party where I had it set up on my courtyard (I live in New Orleans). The weather was perfect, and I saw many of my guests comfortably seated at the table throughout the night. I'm going to paint it with some water seal in hopes that it will keep it's rich color just a bit longer with our typical rain here. And even more importantly, assembly was an absolute breeze!!!!! Very well-made. Looks far more expensive than what I paid!

Although there was a crack in one of the wooden legs and there are differences in the color; it was very easy to put together and since I plan on painting the table the mismatched wood did not matter.

We needed a cheap table to get us through the end of patio season (purchased a new house in late summer) so we ordered this table. The table arrived quickly and was easy to assemble, however there are some minor cracks in the wood. I am not worried about those because they would probably appear with age anyway. The part I am not thrilled about however was that two legs were discolored and one leg was visibly warped. Luckily the table does not rock though. It rained the first day we had it out on the deck, so it took a few days before we were able to apply teak oil for weather protection. The oil darkened the wood a bit and gave it a nice finish (in fact, I can't recall if those cracks were there before the rain or not... so definitely oil this table!). For the price it is worthwhile if you just need a cheap table and don't mind the possibility of needing to replace it after a year or two. I don't have confidence in the table's durability, but for now it is exactly what we needed and it looks fairly nice.
