I purchased three of the chairs and the bench, too. Thus far, they are very nice. I plan to make seat cushions for this set. They are housed in my three-season porch. The chairs are actually quite roomy, for bigger than normal hips like mine. That was surprising. Great product for the price. Easy to assemble. I just tossed the directions and did it on my own.Love, love, love this set!
The bench is constructed quite well and looks beautiful on my patio. I wanted furniture that would hold up in extreme weather conditions and would be usable after rain...fabric cushions take too long to dry. Plastic furniture is just too ugly. If the wood turns gray after several years, a quick coat of paint will extend the life and make it appear new again. I purchashed 2 matching chairs after receiving the bench. It's a classy furniture set with style!
Not as sturdy as I'd like. Another bench I have is thicker/heavier. This bench is rather thin. The arms, the seat slats are all thinner than my other bench. Wonder how long it will last. The stain is an artificial orangey red. Looks cheap.
