I read many reviews of many kitchen carts with casters and finally decided on this one. The directions are a series of pictures you follow. So I laid out all the parts in order and there was only one screw for the knob on the drawer not included. My husband isn't handy but the two of us were able to figure it out and had it all put together in a little over 3 hours. I am very pleased with the final result and I am not a real picky person if it serves it's purpose. For those who are I will admit that one of the shelves on the spice rack had a chip in it. This you really can't see since the top of the rack hangs over it. Second, there are some minor gaps on the spice rack. This is where we had the greatest challenge. The rods didn't fit in the holes thus preventing it from coming together. My husband used a mallet to force them in so causing some minor chips. I figure I can paint them. Lastly the front doors have about a half inch gap between them. We went to Lowes and asked if there was some way to adjust the hardware but there wasn't. Maybe if you are more handy you can fix this if you have the same issue. Overall I still am happy I purchased it and since it wasn't that expensive overall, I can live with the cons.

  • Beautiful Island but a pain to put together

    Finished product when built is beautiful. My only complaints are: 1) it was a pain to put together, the rods for the spice rack were not the proper width so we had to bang the crap out of them with a hammer to get them to fit in the hole, took about 5 hours to assemble. 2) castors are very hard to lock if you intend to mostly keep the island in one place.
