Mondon  from New York, NY, Rating:5.0

The pot is durable and non- stick and looks beautiful. Heat control is key to enjoying these pots. Heat the pot first at medium, not higher. Put your oil or butter and wait till it's hot, then put whatever you're cooking. Stir only with non- metal implements, not to scratch the enamel. After adding braising or stewing liquid, be it soup, wine or tomato sauce, you can raise the heat above medium. Once it boils, lower the heat to low and braise. The results are excellent.

These have a nice design to them but they're metal and not necessarily well made. They are more of a beige than a cream which is what I'd hoped for. However, they work for what I bought them for and I'm keeping them. THey'll be great for entertaining, to put savories as well as sweets on.

I used galvanized items as a recurring decorative theme in my house and yard. I got one of these for inside use, as a fruit stand. And I got another for outside use, as a bird bath. They were perfectly described and photographed, and are well-made. If you love the galvanized look, you'll like these. Made in India, not China.
