I was a bit nervous ordering a couch, but I couldn' t be happier. I looked for a couch at retail for quite a long time and never found anything that matched this quality. It was delivered straight to my doorstep in less than 3 weeks and its high quality and durable. I would definitely recommend.

I was extremely hesitant to order something like a couch online without having ever sitting in it. The comments posted before me made me feel better, but I was still nervous. Less than 3 weeks after I place my order, the delivery people came and set everything up and cleaned away all the packing material. Great communication and very professional. The couch itself is amazing. The leather is much nice than I thought it would be. For ANY price, this couch is great. At the price on Overstock, its PHENOMENAL. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and I would do it again. BTW, the leather is very high quality and I love the smell.

This sofa is an excellent value. The leather is a stffer leather, which wears extremely well. We have young children and is cleans up beautifully. The leather seems to be fairly indestructable while still looking very rich. We found that the "Brown Leather Storage Ottoman" matches brilliantly. You need to purchase two of them. The seat of the sofa is not as cushy as the back and the ottomans make every portion of the sofa very comfortable. Before, we were all clammering for the corner spot. My husband was initially disappointed because this wasn't soft and supple leather. He has since come around (especially since the ottoman addition) and loves it. Everyone who sees it raves. By the way, the "Grasshopper" chairs look great with it, too.

Don't buy it! We've had this sofa for two years and have experienced numerous rips and tears! It's poor quality of leather! It's out of warranty now and we're stuck with junk.

This may be the worst quality piece of furniture I've every owned and when calculating in the price that definitely becomes true. We have owned it for a little over two years and I can't tell you how many times we've had to repair rips. It looks nice online and the color is great. When it arrived it wasn't real comfortable but looked very nice. It wasn't long before first rip happened. I assumed some freak accident so didn't think much of it. But since then I have repaired somewhere between 5 and 10 rips. Some 1/2 inch, others 8 inches. I can't really even resell it so i'm going to post an ad on Craigslist giving it away which is aggravating given I spent over $2000 on it. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it.

I really wanted a leather couch with this configuration and I couldn't find one anywhere near me. I found this and loved it but ordering online scared me for a big purchase but it is perfect. I love the feel of the leather. The stitching is beautiful. It did take 6 weeks to arrive but it was worth it.

After GREAT angst, i ordered and rec'd this sectional. Upside: nice looking, very modern, pretty functional. Downside: delivery was a little dicey, couch had a few small holes in area of connection of couch to chaise. Overstock followed up in a timely manner. My biggest disappointment is the FEEL of the piece; very stifff, almost card-boardy in the pillows at the back. If i could have sent it back without a big hassle, i would have, simply for comfort. Having used it now for several months, it is 'breaking in' somewhat. I do not, however, smell 'that great leather smell' referred to by some reviewers....

We just received the Bakerfield Luxury Leather Sectional Sofa and it's Exactly what I hoped it would be. Prior to this purchase we honestly went to every single furniture store in our area, and looked through many, many websites looking for a kid/pet friendly, yet elegant and stylish, sectional. It was an endless task to find one that was large enough to accomodate our family, and yet small enough to fit in the space alotted, while also not breaking the bank. The only one we found elsewhere that worked was Double the price of this sectional!! My only frustration came from not being able to view the tracking information online. From the day after it was purchased the tracking information stated that it was "shipped", but you were never able to actually track it, which made it difficult to know whether it was arriving in one week or six. Once it arrive, however, the delivery service was exceptional. It arrived approximately four weeks after the purchase. They called to arrange a delivery time that was convenient for us, and when they arrived they were curteous and efficient. Other reviews mentioned that the leather was a bit tough, but ours is very comfortable and there is no need to "break it in". Also, while the color is dark, it did not seem any darker to me than the photo on the website. I'm so glad we took the online risk of purchasing through Overstock.com. I highly recommend this sectional.

First of all, let's get this clear - it's NOT leather, yet alone luxury. There is only 17% leather in this pos... Yes, I did buy this sectional in 2007 and used it for 4 years, and here we are 4 years later the couch has disintegrated. Can't believe it? You'll have to trust me - I called a leather "master" and after visitng with us he told us to discard the item: not worth the investment we were about to make to "repair the leather." It appears this is a common scam in the market place. The manufacturers are not obligated (by law) to state that their product is not made of real leather. So if you're searching for a good leather couch, make sure you ask for top-grain 100% leather. Otherwise you're buying cheap crap. Oh, and BTW the left arm broke from inside only 6 months into it. It wasn't bothering me much as you can't see it, but there is a shallow spot on the arm. Seriously poor quality altogether.

I have seen a lot of positive reviews for this couch which was one of the main reasons that I bought this. It looks pretty nice in my living room, however comfortwise, it is HORRIBLE. The seat cushion size is narrow so it feels like you sitting in a straightback chair. You can't really fall back into it unless you are sitting in the corner. It is also verry unfomfortable to cuddle with someone on it. Don't recommend for couples. Also, I'm having lots of problems getting the sectional sofa to buckle together. After many attempts (using three people), we finally got it latched together, however it came unlatched the very next day. This couch is best used for looks in a sitting room and not for relaxing and watching tV.

This Sectional Looks great from the photo and the reviews speak highly of it, however, not so in our case. I use to own a furniture store 8 years ago and I thought this would be a great buy . The sectional is truely not pure Italian leather its mainly alot of leather match product with is a cheap version of leather. For that price it ought to be pure grain. The seat cushions are hard and the frame is made really cheap. Dont spend this much money on this sectional keep looking around.

Buying a leather sectional on-line was very scarey. Reading previous reviews helped me a lot and convinced me to make the purchase. I love it! I can't say one bad thing about that sectional. It's perfect for the space and was exactly what I hoped it would be. No misrepresenation whatsever.

I highly recommend this sectional. the leather is tight and sophisticated looking. i was looking for a quality piece in my family room that is comfortable and impressive. The workmanship and attention to detail is not as evident in the picutre. I am very pleased and i cannot stop looking at it! There was no strong leather odor. The dark chocolate color in certain lighting appears black. I was tired of the standard brown leather sofa sets. I initially was hesitant to make such a large purchase on line. The previous purchasers comments were very helpful. Thanx Overstock!!!

This set is very nice looking but not really that comfortable. Bought it for our Adult game room though it looks very nice after a short time you need to get up and move around for your back tends to ache.

I was very impressed with my sectional. It came in a prompt manner. Actually, we bought it for our student ministry room at our church and it looks great. Big and roomy and comfortable. They called about the delivery on a Friday when we had a big event, so we asked if they could hold off on delivery until the next week. They did! The delivery people brought it to our church and brought it to the room and everything was better than I expected...especially buying such a large ticket item on line.

Love, love, love this sofa. I have been looking for a brown, leather sectional for sometime. I found this one almost by accident and couldn't believe the price and the shipping cost ($2.95). I was a bit nervous at first because I never ordered such a large item online. Delivery took only 10 days...the sofa was brought into my house and unpacked for me. It is perfect, no scratches or damage. The color is a deep, chocolate brown...a bit darker than the picture. It's georgous.

It's a very dark brown (almost black) with a nice sheen on it. strong, sturdy framing and cushions. easy delivery process, very happy!

The two guys who delivered this did a great job--they unpacked it and took all the packaging materials with them and set it up exactly where I wanted it. The most difficult part when I move this couch around is matching up the two metal connectors on each of the pieces so the couch hooks together. The couch isn't very wide, but because I'm shorter, it's more comfortable for sitting. It is a very stiff couch and hasn't really softened up over time much. Because it is dark brown, it does show the dust quite a bit, so needs a microfiber cloth run over it often. The overall size of it is great and we're able to seat the whole family on the couch at once and watch TV. I should also mention that there is off-white stitching all over. I don't notice it any more, but it looked a little old-fashioned to me at first.

We purchased a new sofa from Overstock and thoroughly pleased with this purchase. The price was well worth it for the quality of the sofa. The leather is excellent with an expensive look. The sofa is so comfortable and my husband loves just lying down on this sofa to catch some television. The delivery people were very nice and set it up where we wanted it. We are happy customers!
