This little gadget is pretty much perfect. It's got a nice strong magnet to stick to your fridge, so it's always convenient. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I use this re-sealer on bags of frozen veggies, unfinished bags of cereal (especially during the humid summer months), and candy packages (so I don't eat the whole thing). It prevents freezer burn, stale-ness and wasting lots of plastic zipper bags. Pop some rechargeable batteries in there, and you've got a convenient way to decrease your environmental impact AND save money from wasted food! I've already given a bunch away as gifts (stocking stuffers), and I'm getting more for myself so I have them in reserve in case they take the product off the market. But I'm still using the original one I bought ages ago!

the bag resealer that i purchased was alright, however it wasn't what i expected. it was extremely small and didn't fit my needs.

OK for small bags. Seal not that great on big bags. Great for packing lunches - for the money OK as long as you remember - small bags only.

My fiance doesn't like gadgets but he's decided this one is pretty useful. It takes a few tries to figure out how fast to move it across the top of the bag. It's nice for resealing things that go in the freezer; no more rice or peas all over the place because a clip or rubber band fell off.
They have proven surprisingly durable after being dropped on the floor several times.
