The directions are very easy to follow. The finish is very well done no feathering or missed spots. I purchased this crib for my 1st grandson to have a place of his own at my house, did not want a "pack n play". The quality is very sturdy. The only bummer is that the "warning" stickers were placed on the out side which made it look terrible. I just removed them with a razor and "goo b gone" .
