If you are expecting the real mid-century version, this chair is not the same material. It is a nice molded plastic. Very comfy. Good quality and durable. Same as the Eames sold at the expensive place but a fraction of the cost.

These chairs are fantastic. We bought them for the end chairs at our dining table, but have brought them over to the living room for guests many times because they are so comfortable. Very sturdy design and a great look. I love these chairs!

For anyone considering these chairs, I would definitely give a high recommendation. No, they are not the originals, but they sure are a great knockoff for the price. I have a lot of mid-century modern furniture and these blend in perfectly. They are comfortable and seem to be good quality. I purchased six of the side chairs and two armchairs to use around a casual dining table. They are comfortable, easy to clean and super stylish. I think these would look great with many different decors also. They are a classic!

Yup! These are interchangable with the "real-thing" shells and bases. I needed bar stools, but the fiberglass shells are not currently available. So, I ordered these chairs and the stool bases from another site. I kept my fingers crossed, and they work! The holes don't align perfectly, but enough to let them catch. And, no one is going to be looking at the underside to see that the bolts are perfectly in the center of the holes. Very pleased!

Easy to screw in contrary to some comments. Cannot tighten the screws until all four are in else you will run into the misaligned hole in chair with legs problem. Actually I prefer the brighter white in this knock off than the real McCoy which is creamier and duller. Cant beat the price. If manufacturer will now make Wegner's Ox chair....

Two Eames repro wire chairs for under $$$ is easily one of the best furniture deals I have ever seen. I am very familiar with the original chair, and I am very happy to have found out that this copy is just a sturdy and durable as the original, for a fraction of the original’s price. Why pay an arm and a leg when you don’t have to? Not only is the quality comparable, but the effect and feel are exactly the same.

I love how these chairs have a clean and simple form that really cradles the body unlike any other chair I have experienced. The wire frame is surprisingly strong, a testament to the brilliant design of this chair. The combination of white plastic and steel has a wonderful modern feeling that makes my home look more contemporary and more comfortable.

These chairs are awesome. They could not be more comfortable and look like top quality chairs. You do have to do a little pulling to line the legs up with the screw holes, but it's no big deal. I put them together by myself no problem. Highly recommend these!

These are great reproductions for the price. They are a much starker white than the Herman Miller versions but if that works with your interior then it shouldn't be a problem. We love them and with young kids like ours they are the perfect dining chairs to be practical and stylish at a decent price.

I have ordered this set of Ayers Wire Base Arm Chairs for my younger daughter. I know she loves modern style and furniture, so when we renovated her room I placed these unique, modern and great looking chairs in her room. She was amazed and happy. The clean white color with the wire base is the perfect combination for everyone who is fond of minimalist and modern furniture and not to forget the great price.

I purchased 2 pairs of these. I've put them around my frosted glass dining table, and they give off a very sleek, Palm Springs kind of vibe. The caps on the base of the chairs were a bit difficult to put on however, and the construction (screwing the base to the seat) did require 2 people, so you should have a friend help assemble when your chairs arrive. Overall however, I am thrilled with my purchase! They provide a very designer, stylish modern accent. Price was excellent as well.

These are a great reproduction, but the base doesn't fit onto the chair right. It needs about five people all pushing on the legs exactly right to fit the screws into the right place. And even then we couldn't get it perfect. They look amazing and are comfortable though. Plastic material makes them more casual. Good reproductions, not perfect, but fit that style.

i say what a **** because it took a long time to put the base screws in..holes are not aligned properly..but all in all considering the price, this was a good deal..

These looks great and are super comfortable. Good bang for the buck. It is most definintely a two person job (one to bend the wire legs in place while the other screws, but teamwork is fun, right?

They arrived within three business days and I was able to mount the bases in about 30 minutes as I watched TV. These make a great addition to our living room and wehave received numerous compliments.

I love these chairs but they had no directions (honestly didn't need them), and the holes on the chair and base didn't line up. It took a little forcing but we got them to line up finally and work. They look great, I just wish they didn't require two people to put together.

These chairs are really versatile, which is great for my apartment. They are comfortable enough for video game playing in my living room but can also be used for extra seating at the dining table. The chairs were a bit difficult to assemble as the screws were difficult to insert fully. Also, the floor protectors were a bit difficult to put on the base. Overall I'd recommend them as they are affordable, stylish and comfortable.
