We purchased the Axium queen platform bed, the double dresser and nigh stand-all of which were delivered in multi-boxes of wood panels and hardware. Just looking at the many pieces for each furniture unit could be overwhelming for the faint-at-heart. The instructions were excellent and once assembled, the bedroom furniture was absolutely gorgeous. The unit is well made, very stable and heavy. The drawers move smoothly and the brushed hardware adds quality and elegance to the overall appearance. Had we known that the unit needed such extensive assembly, we would not have purchased it. However, we are so pleased with the final product. We hired a skilled assemblyman for just $60.00-less than the cost of shipping; but any patient team of two who can read and follow instructions could get the job done within three hours per unit.

Extrememly disappointed in the quality of the product. The directions for assembly were not easy to follow, the producted scratched easily, drawers do not slide as they should. Would not recommend this product at all.

I just received this dresser. It looks good. Price is OK. I spent 5 hours for installation, though I thought I was a good handy man, but now I have lost my confidence. The most important thing in assembly of a dresser is the rails for drawers which would never come out right unless a good manufactures spend good money to hire an expert, fluent in English, understand design, a technical person, to write the installation instruction. More importantly for drawers which the main function, the rails, must be mapped out on the pieces for position of rails, or carefully mark every piece by piece This dresser has no marking for the position of the male rails also the female portion is poorly marked. After you spend all day to put this small dresser together, then the drawers do not move smoothly, or stocked. There is no way to reinstall it as it will impossible to put the screws back on the same wood. The quality of the wood is press board and easily loosens up the holes. Although, this dresser look nice in the pictures, but I would never buy a dresser on line again unless I check the installation brochure first. I do not recommend it.

I was looking for some furniture for a spare bedroom and opted for this four drawer chest. I was very pleased with the quality of the parts, especially the hardware. It was relatively easy to put together once everything was laid out but there were some parts that were difficult to follow in the instructions. One of the drawers did have a scratch on it but a replacement part was sent out right away by the customer service department.

Bought and put together 2 of these, the two matching nightstands and the Umbria bed. They look great together and the wood is awesome.

I love this piece. It is heavy and looks much more expensive than it is. No MDF or composite here. I had some challenges with tightening some of the screws, but a powerdriver is key for much of this furniture. I have noticed after the piece has set for a couple weeks, the drawer slides might need a little tightehing up after all.

It works well and matches, could be a little more substantial all over with all pieces being wood or heavy-duty MDF and such, but its neat lokking on the outside and no one gets inside it but you anyway.

This is a great deal. The chest of drawers is ver sturdy and once put together you would never have guessed it came in a box that was alot of peices. It was easy to assemble with easy to follow instruction. It looks alot more expensive than it was

We bought this dresser as a changing table for our babys room. It was pretty easy to put together, but it did come in a bunch of pieces for assembly. The quality is good (not great, but good). IF YOU PLAN TO USE THIS AS A CHANGING TABLE: I do kind of regret not getting a wider dresser. This table really only has room for the changing pad... but it would be nice to have room to put the diaper, wipies, lotion, etc. too.

This is one of an excellent quality bedroom collection. I also got the 6-drawer dresser to match. Both are beautiful dark brown wood. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because putting them together was difficult. The screw holes for putting the drawers on were to short and too small so it made it very difficult to get the screws all the way in. Other than that, well worth it!

IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AND TAKE YOUR TIME, ALL-Be-It, the dresser is extremely heavy... However its solid wood again and the color is truely to die for. Pick it up and if you hate it, Ill come get it from you and send you pictures later. LOL! Quality furnbiture at a great price, quick 30-45 min install!

I bought two of these dressers for my teenage son's room and am very satisfied with my purchase. They are just the right size and look great! They were easy to assemble (a little time consuming, but easy) The only issue I had is that there are no pre-drilled holes on the drawers for the tracks. The directions do not say to pre-drill holes, but in order for them not to split you will need to pre-drill the holes.

I purchased this item, looks good on the outside but kind of a pain to put together. The drawers can barely fit 2 shirts stacked on top of each other and the worst part is that the wood that is used to make the product smells. All my clothes smell like the materials used to make the product. Beware of this or you will have to wash your "clean clothes" each time you take them out of the drawers. For this size of a unit it would definitely be better with 3 drawers instead of 4.

This is a great drawer chest. I bought 2 and I'm using them as night table/chest. The quality of this furniture is excellent. I had been looking at furniture stores for a couple of weeks and anything close to this chest was over $300. This is a great 4-drawer chest and at an excellent price. All my friends who saw the chests are very impressed. I order them on a Sunday and received them the following Thursday. The only negative part is that it comes completely disassembled. My husband and a friend spent over 2 hours putting together the first drawer chest. It took them about one hour for the second one. However, I have to say that my husband is very handy and can assemble anything quick, so be prepared to spend a nice afternoon putting this furniture together. It is all worth it.

Looks good, but its a lot of work putting it together and the drawers don't close that easily once complete.

I bought this to coordinate with a couple of 6-drawer dressers and night tables. Great value and relatively easy to assemble.

OK, after reading all the reviews, we were very nervous about the assembly. The dresser came in, what seems like hundreds of pieces. The top panel came with a big crack down the middle, which Overstock was very quick to send a replacement. Then the 2 side panels were mislabeled, part A and B were mixed up. But if you look at the diagram really well, you can tell the parts. Follow directions really well and exactly. Because we read all the reviews, we were extra careful to read and proceeded slowly and carefully. We did not have any problem after that. Every piece fitted well and it is actually a very good looking dresser. It did take 3 hours and you really need 2 people. We really like it and felf that it was a great piece for what we needed.

We actually bought this for our newborn's room and used it as a changing table. We had a "topper" (similar to that at xxxxxxxx) constructed to go on top of this and put some rubber like shelf lining between it and the chest to keep it from sliding. It worked perfectly. Even though we don't need a changing table any longer, we still have a very functional piece of furniture to use for her clothes. We love it and would highly recommend it to friends. It is solid and very modern in appearance. The color goes perfectly with our other espresso furniture. Great bargain!

I love the look of this chest. By the pictures, it seems like it should have been taller than the dresser, but it's about the same. I guess I should pay attention to the dimensions next time! It took some time to put together; you'll definitely need two people! The wood seems to be good quality and the finish is very lovely. I purchased a bed from **** in an espresso color and the colors match wonderfully! Thank you Overstock!
