We purchased the Axium queen platform bed, the double dresser and nigh stand-all of which were delivered in multi-boxes of wood panels and hardware. Just looking at the many pieces for each furniture unit could be overwhelming for the faint-at-heart. The instructions were excellent and once assembled, the bedroom furniture was absolutely gorgeous. The unit is well made, very stable and heavy. The drawers move smoothly and the brushed hardware adds quality and elegance to the overall appearance. Had we known that the unit needed such extensive assembly, we would not have purchased it. However, we are so pleased with the final product. We hired a skilled assemblyman for just $60.00-less than the cost of shipping; but any patient team of two who can read and follow instructions could get the job done within three hours per unit.

For the price, this is a very solid and goodlooking chest of drawers. As all chests go, they take a while to assemble. Ours came with the top piece cracked that Overstock replaced promptly, but just the pain of not being able to put it together at one go makes me give it 4 stars instead of 5. That plus the smell of the wood takes a while to go away and if it's inside a closet, it takes a little getting used to the new odour. Overall, though, it's stylish and feels like it will easily endure a few years of good use. Good value for the money - I'd recommend getting it.

Assembly required a lot of patience because of poor instruction. The drawers do not close smoothly. Judging from the size, it looks like it would hold a lot of clothes, but not really which is why it's good for the guest room and not for daily usage.

I purchased this dresser a month ago and the top portion that is screwed together is cracking at all the seems. I'm worried that the whole dresser is going to fall apart soon. The piece looks great but I'm not sure it will survive for it's intended purpose. To hold clothes.

I was very pleased with this product, it was one of severalo from this manufacturer. The workmanship is of good quality and easy to assemble. I have owned an extensive shop and did many from scratch pieces and this is comparable to those projects.

Furniture is of high quality. Easy to assemble if you're doing it by yourself (like I did) but would recommend a helper in order to build it quicker.

shipping,as always with Overstock, was fast and on time. product was well packaged and arrived without a scratch. sure it took a couple of hours to assemble, but the end result is worth it. it seems to be very sturdy and i expect it will last a long time.

We love the look of these (actually bought the 6 drawer dresser too!). There were some nicks and scratches on the wood, probably due to shipping, but overall it is great! IT took about 2 hours for my husband and I to put together.

I love the look of the wood and the shape; however, it's still sitting in my room not completely assembled. I went out and purchased an electric drill and it didn't help that much. The complexity of the assembly is frustrating, especially when one screw doesn't fit. Do I leave it out and assemble the rest or unassemble the whole thing and start over? I soon realized starting over is not an option either because the cap screws once are in can not pull out. So now I am stuck with one cap that doesn't fit. The manual is not very helpful either.

Quality is good, it's fairly easy for my handyman husband to assemble. He says it's not for an amatuer. Nice thing is they provide enough screws that if you drop one or maybe 2 you still have enough.

Extrememly disappointed in the quality of the product. The directions for assembly were not easy to follow, the producted scratched easily, drawers do not slide as they should. Would not recommend this product at all.

This is a nice chest, very time consuming to put together but once assembled it is very sturdy and very nice looking, looks way more expensive than it really is. Also, received it only a week after ordering.

I just received this dresser. It looks good. Price is OK. I spent 5 hours for installation, though I thought I was a good handy man, but now I have lost my confidence. The most important thing in assembly of a dresser is the rails for drawers which would never come out right unless a good manufactures spend good money to hire an expert, fluent in English, understand design, a technical person, to write the installation instruction. More importantly for drawers which the main function, the rails, must be mapped out on the pieces for position of rails, or carefully mark every piece by piece This dresser has no marking for the position of the male rails also the female portion is poorly marked. After you spend all day to put this small dresser together, then the drawers do not move smoothly, or stocked. There is no way to reinstall it as it will impossible to put the screws back on the same wood. The quality of the wood is press board and easily loosens up the holes. Although, this dresser look nice in the pictures, but I would never buy a dresser on line again unless I check the installation brochure first. I do not recommend it.

Very good, solid furniture, I was wondering how good it would be and it is truthfully better than I found in stores in my area. Great pricing, the short nightstand was exactly what I needed.

I purchased this dresser for my new apt. I love the look, very modern. The wood stain is very dark, almost black. It's very solidly built and has nice polished hardware. Sturdy enough to support a 32 in flat screen I have on top of it.

We bought the bedroom set, so by the time we were done putting the room together, this was the last piece. It took us about 40 min to put it together.

I purchased this piece along with the rest of the Axium line. I absolutely love every piece. As with all of this furniture, it will take a little bit to put together and have your power screw driver handy. The drawers on here are not as deep as the 6 drawer piece, but it makes for a great addition to the 6 drawer dresser.

I received the order quickly and undamaged. We decided to assemble the nightstand before the dresser so we could learn on the smaller project before moving on to the larger one. It appears to be of good quality and looks great. The assembly was not too difficult so long as you are organized and follow the instructions.

I got the expresso color and it really looks great. It went together easy enough. I also got the dresser and night stand and it makes for a very striking bedroom set....only draw back is I have to dust every day cause it seems to be a dust magnet because of the darkness of the color (black) but I love it and just keep swiffer duster handy, ha
