I purchased this night stand and the Axium 6-drawer dresser and am very happy with both. The night stand was fairly easy to assemble -- it was about what you can expect from an item that comes totally unassembled. It took my husband and I less than an hour to put together. It is a very nice piece of furniture, very sturdy and heavy. It is actually a bit larger than I had expected -- it's a great addition to our guest room. All the pieces were intact and without mars or damage.

I was surprised how heavy and solid these nightstands are when assembled. They do take a little while to put together, and I highly suggest a drill with a screwdriver bit attached. They look black in the picture, however, with the right lighting the brown espresso tones can be seen. Overall, they are nice pieces and I would definitely recommend them.

The table, once assembled, is good looking and sturdy. The problem was that the instructions are poor, the holes were not drilled where they should have been and two of us could not complete the job - we called in a friend who was stymied as well. Finally got it assembled - it probably could have been a tighter fit and we had so many screws and other parts left over that the instructions seemed to ignore. We are using it next to a bed on the far side of the room so it looks fine and will serve the purpose well. I think it was too much money for what it is - and - there you have it!

I purchased these night stands and I love them they are beautiful. Not too hard to put together. Recently, however, I am a little disappointed that on the top surface a crack has developed in the wood. I don't know why...maybe the screw in that section is too tight. The crack is fairly large and seems like it is splitting the wood. If it is a workmanship issue then that is my only complaint.

I ordered two night stands and a 6 drawer dresser. Everything arrived fast and in perfect condition. After reading reviews about difficult instructions and tedious installation, I was surprised by how detailed and easy to understand the instruction were. I did it all by myself (petit female) in under 5 hours from opening the box to clean up. DO use an electric screw driver and read instruction first!

I purchased 2 of these as nightstands. I think they are beautiful and appear to be very solid. Delivery was quick and assembly wasn't that bad (although having 2 people was a big help). The espresso stain is a bit darker than the stain on my bed (which is also espresso). This product is def. more black than chocolate. Overall though, a great purchase and I have no complaints.

Great little table. Directions weren't very clear on some areas, but I was also watching tv while I did it so maybe it was me. Still having problems with the drawer sliders, but again, probably me.Also, the back and the bottom shelf don't have predrilled holes so that was a bit of a pain.All put together though, it looks great. Bought it to go with the Riva bed.

This nightstand is in a rich dark brown color (almost black). I assembled it with my girlfriend in about 20-30 mins. All the pieces are label including the screws. When everything together it looks great. The draw slides on tracks. I love this nightstand. Oh, I got the nightstand 3 days after I ordered it. Super fast UPS shipping.

We originally purchased the 6 drawer dresser and liked it so much - the quality was wonderful - that we decided to get the end tables, also for our bedroom, and are very pleased with them. If you are careful and take your time when putting this furniture together you will not be sorry you got it.

Well Made! Chunky and heavy. It came all lettered and numbered with screws and pegs etc. in labeled bags. Illustratiions made it simple to assemble. Love the looks of it in our bedroom.

This product was awesome. I love the dark almost black stain. I was really impressed by the quality of the wood. It is a very solid piece of furniture. It looks great. Especially with thee rest of the axium set. I also bought the bed and 2 drawer dresser and am every pleased with the whole collection.

I would definitely recommend this nightstand. It is very elegant looking and very functional. My only complaint is the little screw covers didn't stay on well. Also it took a little while to put together because the directions were not that precise. I had a little trouble with the bottom shelf. I kept wanting to align it with the legs which it wasn't suppose to. When I finally figured that out, the legs were straight and a beautiful nightstand was the result. I purchased two and it looks great in my bedroom.

We have had the 6-drawer dresser in this set for about 6 months, and we recently added the 2 nightstands. They are beautiful and were fairly easy to put together. I would advise you in advance that they do scratch easily, as I found out on the first night when I slid a coaster across the top. Other than that, these pieces are a perfect addition to a contemporary style bedroom.
