3rd review. i guess overstock doesn't publish negative reviews so they can sell merchandise. overstock has disappointed me on this one. this table is junk. still waiting for them to "get back with me" regarding broken table. i'll be doing less shopping here... ...

Overall this table is a great value. I am very happy with my purchase. The table arrived in some of the best packaging I've seen. The box had some damage but the table was fine. The table is very sturdy and well done. The dark wood looks great. There was only one negative point that I'd have to write about. I was surprised by the assembly of the table. I didn't realize from the picture on the internet that you attach the legs to the table by attaching them at the end of each side of the tabletop. This is a little tricky to ensure everything is smooth and aligned.

This table have the ugliest finish to it. It doesn't look bad from across the room, just horrible close up. I definitely got what I paid for. The "finish" scratches very easily. It does seem very sturdy, just uuuuugggggggly!

Packaging of this table was great. When i removed it from the package a noticed a split on the corner of the table top. A little glue and a brace and it was good as new. Later that evening I saw another crack in the top of the table. I also fixed that. If I had not taken a day off from work to accept delivery on this table I would have sent it back to get another. The saying is true, "you get what you pay for." Overall though, I guess I'm pretty satisfied. Not jumping up and down with joy.

The axium dining set is beautiful. The order arrived at my home sooner than I expected. There were small scratcnes on the table but it wasn't worth sending it back. I get lots of compliments on it. I'm satisfied with my order...

The table arrived in two boxes in about 2 business days. I was sad to see that the top had a crack in it, but Overstock sent me a replacement within another 2 business days. The table is quite heavy and sturdy, and assembly took all of 20 minutes (12 bolts to fasten). The table looks modern, and is a great bargain considering the quality, the size, and the design. I am very happy with my purchase, it goes perfectly against my red wall and Asian-themed dining room...and I am very impressed with Overstock customer service.

I purchased this table set and extra chairs 2yrs ago and I'd like to say they are stylish for a modern style. But don't expect it to be a family dinner cause its not roomy enough to fit all you food at the table only enough to fit your plates other than good table for very small family. As far as the chair padding it starts to wear off a year later so you might wanna consider to buy a thin padding cause if you buy a thick padding your legs will have a hard time getting under. All in all good for a short period.

This table looks beautiful. However, the material is substandard. Two of the chairs broke during assembly. They were replaced immediately by Overstock and although they look nice, the quality is questionable. The table had cracks in it when it arrived. Again, Overstock was fabulous in providing return parts but the replacements had cracks as well although not as visible as the original ones. I decided to just keep what was the least cracked. However, after a few months, the table top started to warp. So, pretty as it looks in the picture, I can't recommend it although I do recommend Overstock for its fabulous customer service.

I ended up buying this dining room table to use as an office table where I do a lot of work, and it is sturdy, good looking, and best of all, the easiest thing I've ever assembled. I cannot tell you how happy I was to have everything come in one well-packed box, to open it and have it set up in about 20 minutes.It has served me well that if I had need for a dining set, I would get the whole set.

This table (and chairs) are beautiful...prettier than u can imagine...had a problem on quality control, both leg asssemblies were cracked...cant send back because there are no more in the warehouse. I do like it enough to keep it. I have looked too long to not have what i finally found. The chairs are awsume...If it comes back to Overstock, dont hesitate.

The table is beautiful, rich-looking dark wood, just like it looks in the picture. I am enjoying it and glad I got it. It is extremely heavy, and I had a tough time wrestling the table top and two leg bases out of the two huge boxes into my dining room, and assembling it myself. The first screw in the table legs took forever, but then the rest sailed along. I had to get a neighbor to help me turn it right-side up, it was so heavy. Okay, I'm older and small. Still, it is the heaviest self-assemble piece I have dealt with. But the instructions were not difficult to understand--quite easy. A good buy--thanks!

Sleek and elegant, this table has surpassed all of my expectations. Rarely do you order something online and find it to be better than the picture, however, this table definitely fits that scenario. Great lines and modern design make this a great table for almost any household.

I bought this table and the matching chairs for dining room and love it! It was so easy to assemble (especially for a girl), and looks fantastic! The wood is a beautiful dark brown, and brings automatic sophistication to my home. There are some bad reviews regarding quality, and it made me apprehensive as well, however I have had no problem yet!! It's a great value for someone wanting to upgrade their dining room table without spending a fortune.

Perfect size for those in apartments. It can actually seat 6 people as well. Build quality is nice and for the price it can't be beat.

The table is ok for the price. It was very easy to put together. However, it looks more black than espresso. Also, the finish scratches REALLY easily. After we put the table together I noticed at least 3 areas with white scratches. I'll need to get some kind of dye to cover it up. It's a nice sized table.

I ordered this table to match the chairs that I previously purchased. The price was good and assembly was easy.

i put the table together and it cracked on two sides after one week. the cracks are about a foot long and are both about a quarter inch to a half inch from the edge of the table top.

You cant beat this table for the money, well made and easy to put togother. If you are looking for a smaller table this is it.....nice espresso finish. Chairs go well with it too.

This was perfect for our dining room table, and the assembly on this product was easy. Get this dining table if you know you aren't going to be entertaining large groups of people and just want something sleek and simple.

The table looks great and seems quite sturdy. The wood seems slightly darker than what I think of as "espresso," but it's still very nice.
