Functional and beautiful
This buffet table arrived very well packed in three heavy boxes. When unpacked, the prospect of putting it all together looked very daunting because there were so many pieces, but the instruction was easy to follow with every piece clearly marked. The hardest part to assembe was the sliding drawers. You must make sure that the wheels are correctly placed, otherwise the drawers will slide out when you are finished. (I made that mistake and had to unscrew all the drawer hardware parts and re-do again.) It might help by visualizing how it should work before actually screwing in the parts. You'll need power tool for this job, otherwise your hands will have blisters. You'll also need couple of hours to assemble. I did it by myself and it took all day. The end result was as shown on the picture. The table came out steady, functional, and beautiful. I would recommend this table to anyone who wished to have extra diningroom storage space. You just need a little patience to put it all together. The end result is well worth the effort.

Stylish buffet
We purchased the buffet, table and 6 chairs. The buffet was the most time consuming but still only took a few hours to assemble. Everything went together very nicely. The drawers slide smoothly and the cabinet doors open easily. It is very sturdy and well made. I really like the modern design and the color is exactly what I was looking for, "dark espresso".

darker than thought, very sturdy
The buffet is very sturdy and looks great, but just a warning that is a very dark brown, closer to black. It took 2 people about 5 hours to put together, working diligently. The parts are well labeled and an electric screwdriver is a must. I really didn't notice an odor as others did and have gotten many compliments on it. Good storage, do wish there were more than one shelf for each side. Drawers open and close smoothly and doors fit well.

Very happy 1st time buyer
I was very nervous about purchasing this buffet without seeing it in person. My husband even warned me about ordering it. I took a chance and am very, very pleased. This buffett is beautiful! It wasn't hard to put together just time consuming. We even used a regular ol' screwdriver because the battery went out on our electric one. Read and reread directions. The picture is true to color and is a beautiful rich dark brown. It is mostly (90%) solid wood and very sturdy. It was packed and shipped expertly and arrived in less than a week, which included a holiday and a weekend. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It even won my husband over and we are ordering a similar Axium product. Thanks for a great product at a great price!!!

This piece completed my formal dining room. It looks very rich. The Quality I think is fair for the price. I found that the wood split easily when screwing in the back panel. But the product when assembled looks exceptional. If you're not one for assembling furniture and is short on patience; this is not the product for you. This piece has very very many parts and took me an entire weekend to assemble.

Excellent buffet with minor issues
The buffet has a sleek, contemporary look and is made of solid wood. The espresso finish is nice, though darker than expected. As other reviewers had indicated, it was a difficult assembly and took me about eight hours over two nights to put this together by myself. The instructions were good, although I had to be very careful when assembling the drawer slides to ensure that they were in the right orientation. There were also several minor issues. First, the cams were of poor quality, and a couple of them stripped when I turned them. Second, the wheels on two of the four drawer slides do not spin freely; as a result, the corresponding drawers glide poorly.( I expect Overstock.com to send me replacement slider sets, however.) Third, several of the pilot holes for screws were not deep enough and required further drilling. I saw similarly sized solid wood buffets at other stores proced at over $1000, so despite these minor issues, it is still an excellent buy.

Striking piece !
I absolutely loved the piece. It is very well built. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it took a complete day to put together. My husband and son worked on it for over 8 hours. The directions were not very good. But when it was done it was well worth the effort!

Delivered as advertised
Package arrived in 3 boxes about 5 days after we placed the order. Assembly took about 3 hours but was easy enough if you follow the instructions. Make sure you have an electric screw driver or a drill with the appropriate bits! For the price this is an excellent buffet hands down. We decided to give overstock a try on this furniture since we were happy with our coffee table and we are glad we did. However, one of the doors is sticking a little bit but I think I can do some adjustments to help it close more smoothly.. For saving 50-75% off from other retailers for comparable quality I'll gladly live with that.

Gorgeous buffet
Love my buffet! It's a rich espresso color and the hardware is nice too. The directions were a bit hard to follow and putting the drawers together was a bit of a chore, but not too bad. It has a lot of room for storage and the shelves are very sturdy. The wood is nice and not cheap pressboard---definitely not what I wanted--this is a great choice and a great price too. I would definitely recommend this buffet!

Perfect! Read for tips!
This is a gorgeous piece! I am using it for a tv stand and just drilled holes in the back for my electronics. Being a single woman who put this together alone, here are some tips to save you from the tears I shed! First, buy a rubber mallet...great for putting in dowels and tapping the parts tigether! You also need a 4mm allen wrench...not included. I did a lot of this without an cordless drill/screwdriver...but after my hand started to bliater...I invested in one!! These are the best instructions I have seen, but still was confused on a couple of things. The cam screws...don't push them in all the way. Push them just flush with the wood. They go in further when tightening. Point the arrow towards the outside of the piece when putting in. When tightening, turn so the arrow faces the inside...don't over tigjten, just the one turn. Installing the drawer rails confused me, but if you look at the photos, it is not that bad...just realize the wheels go toard the front of the drawers and one piece goes on the drawer and one attaches to the cabinet...they are different. Finally, if the drawers don't go in, check that the screws holding the rails are fully screwed in...mine were just slughtly off...by my own fault...but then the wheels caught and would not allow the drawer to close. Just a few adjustments and all was fine. It was a lot of work, but worth it! Color is dark espresso...almost black, which is what I wanted! Be aware this comes in 3 heavy boxes!
