Nice. Attractive. Perfect size.
The only workmanship flaw was that the drawer wasn't center in the final assembly. Perhaps this is easily adjusted, but I haven't attempt to adjust it. The glass is removable which makes it easy to replace it with smoked glass if you are like me and don't care to look directly at your electronics. The finish is dark with burgundy tones. There are holes already cut for threading power cables and wires. The drawer bottom is rough and could use some contact paper to improve its look. I'm happy with the product and it met the expectations for the value. (But, it didn't exceed my value expectations. I did use a 20$ coupon which brought it to a more appropriate price.)

Nice, but not quite perfect
I got this to match the entertainment center I ordered previously. It's a nice matching set, but they have the same issues. The front lower trim piece is about 3/16" too short, so there are slight gaps along the sides near the legs. It came with only one hole in the back so I used a hole-saw to create 6 additional openings to improve air circulation and cord routing. My WII and AV gear still run a little hot, so I may drill more. If you put this on hardwood or tile, make sure you add some felt padding (not included) to the bottom of the legs as they can scuff your floor. This one only took me about 40 minutes to put together, and I was able to use the leftover parts from the previous unit (not that I needed to). Axium is very generous with the hardware. The glass door is reversible. Despite the flaws, I would definitely buy this again, it's a great piece for the price.

Beautiful Audio Cabinets
I bought two of these cabinets and they have made a huge improvement to our room. They have a beautiful dark brown finish that matches my other espresso-colored furniture. The assembly had many steps, but the instructions were very helpful and easy to understand. Great pieces for the price.

Beautiful piece
Item is beautiful and priced very well compared to similar styles elsewhere. Looks great in our living space and holds all of our media boxes with ease with room for decorations.. Bottom drawer is spacious and is a great place for extra video game controllers, etc. Made well and very sturdy.

Great component shelf unit - needs ventilation
only thing I didn't consider is that the components do generate heat. because the shelf is boxed in and there is a glass door, and a card board back (with hole) there is no way for the heat to come out really. if the tv is on for awhile it definitely gets warm. not HOT. but i wonder if shelf would warp eventually.. time will tell. otherwise i love it. clean way of storing the components without that techy contemporary look. wanted something that looks like furniture. holds everything we needed. we put the kids gaming system on the bottom shelf and use the drawer as well -- exactly as I intended.

Nice piece for the money
We bought this piece to house our Yamaha audio component and we were having a hard time finding one that would be deep enough but this works perfectly. The 3 upper shelves are movable to various positions and the fourth lower shelf is fixed. The bottom drawer is fantastic to hide other items like remotes, instructions, etc. The item came packaged very well and the instructions were well done. It took my husband and I a couple of hours to assemble with almost no fighting! I would recommend 2 to assemble, it would be difficult for 1 person. I didn't give this 5 stars because the wood is all pressed board with veneers, so not the highest quality - but you get what you pay for and I think this was a great buy for the money. We weren't looking for an heirloom piece.

Looks Good!
The 2 boxes were delivered by UPS. That night, my husband put the piece together in about 2 hours. If you read the directions, it isn't that difficult. The back is not that cardboard back that other reviewers described. It is one piece (never folded), and it seems like just a lighter piece of wood. The one hole in the back though doesn't allow for a lot of ventilation. When we have the equipment in use, we always have the door open. Overall, it housed the equipment that we wanted it to, looks great, and seems like a solid piece of furniture. I would order it again for what we are using it for, especially for the price.

Functional, simple style, lacking quality.
The cabinet is functional and is a great addition for our family room. The color describe on the site is very accurate. However, we had issue putting the cabinet together. The quality of the hardware (excluding the handles) was lacking. Several screws and camlocks broke during the build. I will truly question future furniture purchases from Overstock.

Decent for the price, after modifications.
Decent weight, only one access hole in back, I recommend installing a hinge on the back panel, allowing for easy access, also would mount cabinet fans for intake and exhaust, I did, but Ive got an htpc, wiiu, 7.1 yamaha av receiver and an 300w integrated amplifier that produces a fair amount of heat, was pretty warm before the mod. the wood is also soft, laquer it or be gentle. All in all decent for the price, attractive for the ladies, blends well in most living environments.

Beautoful!
First of all never decide your purchase based on the remarks made on assembly! What takes one person an hour could take another 2 or more. Assembly for us was about average and they did give plenty of spare parts which was nice. Read reviews regarding the hole in the back and how there should be more and that one?? That one boggles my mind! Theres 4 shelves so IF you have electronic equip on each I'm not sure why a 2-3" hole wouldn't suffice to exit the wires but hey everyone has opinions I guess! This is an absolute beautiful piece, very classy and modern...would highly recommend!
