I like this fireplace, it's perfect for my needs and fits perfectly in my small space. Be sure you know your exact dimensions for your space, because this fireplace is definitely smaller than it appears to be in the picture. My only complaint (and the reason for the 3-star "appearance" rating) is that the "antique white" doesn't really reflect the actual color. It is actually more of a darker, eggnog-cream color than an antique off-white. I guess the blue wall behind it in the picture makes it look like a whiter white than it actually is. It was easy to put together, except there is some confusion on the final step of attaching the mantelpiece (hence, the 3-star "ease of assembly" rating). All the other screw holes are pre-started so you know exactly where and how to line the boards up to each other before attaching the screws, but the inside mantel doesn't have any screw hole guides to let you know you're attaching it in the right place. I called the manufacturer and they told me that they don't put screw hole guides on the mantel so the customer can line it up flush on their own to get it exactly how they want it. That was confusing to me since every other screw hole in the set is pre-started, but other than that the assembly was a breeze.

I am very happy with this product. It has more detail on the molding than I could see in the photo. The price was very reasonable and the quality is great. Putting it together was fairly simple, however, it wasn't until I put the top on, did it feel sturdy. It adds charm and warmth to the room.

This little fireplace is a wonderful addition to my computer room... I have a much larger one in my bedroom and love it... that's why I purchased this smaller one... I love the screen on the front, and the item is great quality! I love it!

It is exactly what I expected - except I wasn't sure how the fire part worked. Didn't realized that you just set the can of gel fuel behind the fake log and light it. Haven't yet tried it because I didn't order the fuel with the fireplace. It is small, and the white is not very white - more yellowish than expected (hence antique, i suppose). It fits my space perfectly, and looks very nice. We were able to assemble it quite easily, and it did not sustain any damage during shipment.

It IS small, measure first! But boy, it's perfect for my space and needs. It's just darling and though the logs are heavy, it can be moved from room to room as needed. I'm excited to have a fireplace, FINALLY! It took maybe an hour to put together with a power screwdriver. Simple.

i purchased this product and the smell was awful.pay attention to dimension b/c it is very smal not for a living/family room.I wonder why my review of this product keeps getting removed

I'm very happy with my purchase. It's exactly what I needed to make my home office cozy and complete. I was able to put it together by myself which was also a big plus. I have already received compliments from friends who have seen it.

I love it. It fits right into my small room. I live in a warm climate and I burn candles in mine instead of the gel and it looks like a real fire. I'm a Senior lady and put it together myself easily after I figured out how to use the 2 piece screws. Everyone that has seen it has commented on how warm and cozy it's made my room look. Before buying I placed a small bookcase against the wall for sizing and it fit right in. In a larger room I'd recommend a bigger piece.

This is a nice piece of furniture that fits in very well. I have no problem with the fireplace it is just that the can heat is so small and does not last very long and can be very expensive to maintain on a regular basis. However, I like it as opposed to using more electric with an electric heater, but then if you add up the cost of the little cans of heat I am not sure if you come out any cheaper.
