I had ordered this fireplace from Overstock just last week and it arrived very promptly. I was impressed with that. Then when it arrived, it came in two boxes, which made it easy for me to transport in my pickup. I got the boxes home and in one evening got the fireplace assembled and it came out very nice! On assembly I did have a some difficulty but I got the hang of it and was able to continue and complete the job in one evening (and I'm a female). :^) The fireplace is solid wood with a beautiful mahogony color. The carving on the panels are lovely. I am very happy with the fire glow in the firebox. I'm also happy that I can either just look at the flames wihout heat or have the option to turn on the heater for the feel of a fireplace. This fireplace really "made" the living room. I'm happy with this purchase.

Just what I need for Living room,well Crafted piece of furniture.

Beautiful quality. Wood is so pretty. If you are used to assembling items, it is easier although all directions are present. It gives good warmth. Only thing is, be aware that it does not look like a real wood burning (with a chimney and all), but then none of them do. That aside, it is a fantastic price for a very good product.

THIS WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE ESPECIALLY FOR TWO 70 YEAR OLDS. WOULD BE MUCH EASIER FOR SOMEONE YOUNGER. HAVEN'T USED THE HEATER YET AS WE ARE WAITING FOR AN ELECTRICIAN TO COME PUT A PLUG IN BUT IT LOOKS VERY NICE IN OUR ENTRY. A LITTLE REDDER THAN THE PICTURE SHOWS BUT STILL REALLY PRETTY. THERE WAS ONE DEFECT IN THE FRAME AT THE BOTTOM BUT NOT ENOUGH TO SEND BACK.

This electric fireplace is absolutely wonderful. A great deal from overstock, The mantle is huge. It is an elegant looking piece of furniture. Beautiful color and style. Pretty easy to put together. The fireplace insert is also great. Puts out plenty of heat and has an adjustable thermostat. The flame effect and glowing logs are also adjustable through the remote control. Overstock shipped the item super quick. I love this fireplace. Thanks, overstock.com. What a great place to shop.

I bougth this fireplace last year. It was difficult to put together but once it was together it was beautiful. Unfortunately it stopped producing heat after only a few months...it still lights up and blows air but the air is cold. I hate to throw it out but I have no idea what to do to make it produce heat again. I don't even know if the company has replacement parts...it seems I got a lemon.

In the end I was very pleased. One problem was that the pre-drilled holes for the wood screws did not always match up with the pre-cut holes requiring that I drill new ones so everything lined up. Also the original firebox was defective. I called the manufacturer and they shipped a new one immediately - no charge or hassle! Told me to throw the other one away. I had expected a bit of a hassle - but was very pleasantly suprised by the good customer service. The end result was a very fine looking and functional fireplace.

This electric fireplace is truly the best purchase that I have ever made at Overstock! I am impressed with both the quality and serviceability of this product. It is used to heat an area over my garage that measures 14'x17' which has 2 vents that are located at the furthest point from the gas furnace (so, it's always cool in winter). Typically, I would run 2 heaters to supplement the gas ..... but, this one fireplace seems to do the job! Not only does it look fabulous, it heats like a dream! I could not be more satisfied with this purchase.The assembly was tricky. SEI had to be consulted, but they were very willing to help and the end result was perfect!!!

Beautifully packaged - arrived with no damage, wonderful appearance, great value!! Assembly was a bit frustrating - but I did put it together by myself in about 2 hours. Highly recommend!!

This fireplace is beautiful - it's absolutely as described and pictured. This is my first time ordering from Overstock.com but my husband and I are very impressed - both with the shipping and also the value for the money. We'll definitely be ordering again.

This fireplace is wonderful! The wood is a beautiful mahonagy color and the detail is very pretty. It heats the entire basement rec room and we have had to turn down the upstairs thermostat a few degrees. It took some time to figure out the initial assembly, but once we got it, the mantel went together without problem. The flame and embers are as close to realistic as can be expected. We wonder if we will ever light our real fireplace again. The fireplace has become the focal point of our rec room. I have a friend who is going to buy one after seeing mine!

I bought this for my daughter. her play room was chilly this looks great and adds enough heat to make room warmer.

I was surprised to receive the fireplace so soon after placing my order, especially since shipping cost is only $1.00. It was easy to assemble, my husband did it in under an hour. The workmanship is excellent, much better than I expected. The fireplace is elegant and looks great in my living room. It works perfectly and is a great value for the price. Thanks Overstock.com

Simply beautiful. Very pleased with appearance and function. Assembly was a challenge for me, I finally had to enlist my husband for help.

This is a beautiful fireplace, and it arrived so fast! My kids are so impressed with this, especially the 3 year old. It is going to be so fun to have a working fireplace in our master suite Christmas Eve!I love the way it looks, and the gel fuel crackles like a real fire. The only down sides are the fact that from close up you can see the top of the fuel cans slightly. Also, my husband was putting it together and the bottom piece of the hearth had no pre-drilled holes to set the assembly on. One phone call to the manufacturer took care of the problem though, and the customer service reps were friendly and apologetic. They sent out a new piece right away.

IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL, WORKS FINE, BUT NOT EVEN IN THE SMALL PRINT DID I FIND ANY TYPE OF WARRANTY. IT IS ALWAYS A PLEASURE SHOPPING WITH YOU

This fireplace hit the spot in our new/old home that does not and cannot have a working fireplace. Looks very rich and heats up the room nicely. My husband and I assembled it in about an hour.

This fireplace is great once it's put together, but putting it together is a two man job, or at least a few days of work. So I had to use wood glue to create a more sturdy fireplace so it wouldn't fall apart as I put it together and moved it to the wall where I wanted it. Most of the parts are pretty cheap, so as you screw in the peices the wood would break. Thanks to some messy wood glue this process took me about 4 days so that as I glued the base pieces together I would let it sit overnight. Once it was put up it's rather beautiful and gives off plenty of heat. If you're willing to put in the work the end result is pretty good, especially for the price.
