This is a GORGEOUS fireplace!!!!!! I cannot say enough about it! It only took my Hubby maybe 20 minutes to assemble and went together without any problems quite easily. He was even impressed with the looks and quality which is really something and attests to the great value of this piece. The finished product looks absolutely Beautiful in our front room! I was staging our old house to sell and thought the room needed something to really bring it together and this fireplace did just that. It is a elegant focal point to the room now. We were impressed at the duel heat settings and flame control that allows from full flame to smoldering embers to be chosen. The fan blows cool fresh air into any room if it feels stuffy while the heat settings more than adequently heat any room giving it a cozy feeling. We thought we would transfer this unti to our master bedroom once the other place sells as it gets chilly at night in the winter months and I hate to crank up the heat and our bills just to take the chill off before bed. Our room is the furthest from the furnace so this fireplace will do just the job without breaking our bank and still allowing us to feel toasty before bed:) Anyone who orders this fireplace will not be disapponted. I have seen many of lesser quality sell for a great deal more. You cannot beat Overstocks shipping rate for such items as well. Another great find at Overstock!

After reading all the reviews on this product I was a bit concerned about just how long it was going to take me to assemble this product. When it finally arrived I was extremely relieved. I really don't know why so many people are having such a difficult time; the product comes with Detailed instructions and even illustrates each step. Assembly was no problem it all, What I don't like about the product? It seems a bit unsturdy, i'm a bit nervous about moving it. Also, the logs in the fireplace arrived broken. If your looking for a fireplace that actually looks like a fire, this is not your best bet, I actually laughed the first time I turned it on and saw what the 'fire' looked like

We love this fireplace. I almost did not buy it because one of the reviews said it did not have a remote but it does. I had a little difficulty putting it together but once my husband took it apart, he had no trouble at all. It looks GREAT and really does put out the heat.

Well, there is usually a but. This one is a good one. This is a beautiful fireplace. A little smaller than I was expecting which makes the 'fire' look smaller also. However, the details are wonderful. But, the review that said it was a little yellow instead of 'Antique White' was NOT mistaking. This is a true yellow in color. Actually, hideous. However, when I get it sprayed white, it till be truly beautiful.

This fireplace is a great buy for the price. It is a bit smaller than expected -- but then I have nearly 10 foot ceilings. The fireplace is as depicted, easy to assemble, and clearly delineated details (as shown). The one thing not as expected is that this unit is a butter yellow; not white or cream. Having moved from another state; I didn't feel at home in my new place until this fireplace arrived and my husband put it in place. Kudos to Overstock.

flames and logs look real, also a great heater. Heats a 12 x 16 room with no problem. The only problem I saw was the assembly instructions. Used the pic's more than instructions.

I was really surprised to see that it was as beautiful and shown on-line. I did read some of the reviews about the color and i's true, it is more yellow than antique white. I took a piece from my furniture and had it matched up for paint and it looks great. It matches my bedroom since all the ornate design looks like my bedroom design. It was easy enough to assemble and for the price, you can't go wrong. I have seen more expensive ones that can't compare. It will make my bedroom look great and cozy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the color being not as described.

Love the fireplace! The reviews are correct in that it is an antique white color that has a yellowish tint. I preferred it to be white so I painted it. Warms a room really fast. Overstock had the best price and shipping that I found. Shipping was really fast. Assembly was fairly easy if you follow instructions well.

I expected the fireplace to have a white painted finish as I interpreted in the picture,- as such, it would have blended in with my white baseboard/window sills. I was pleasantly surprised that it has an antique glaze that resembles Travertine stone from a distance. But this now means that I plan to repaint the wall behind it. I've placed the fireplace in my bedroom and I like the "fire" and the atmosphere it creates. As a women, I found it pretty straight forward to assemble the unit in about two to three hours, and when assembled it seemed quite sturdy. The only thing I dislike about the unit is the black electric cord.....you would think they would provide a light color cord so it wouldn't stand out so much or provide a colored sleeve to disguise it.

we were pleased with this fireplace...put it in a large family room and it doesn't look awkward. We had no problems putting ti together and we are not extremely handy. The fire looked better than we expected...of course it doesn't look like gas logs or a real fire...it's electric and looks like an electric fireplace! If you are looking for a white fireplace don't get this..it is antiqued and has a yellow tint to it. Great to have a remote. Saw this same fireplace on other sights for a lot more. I think the Overstock price is about what it is worth.

I love this fireplace. It is just beautiful, the picture online does not do any justice, looks so much better in person. Great detail work. I couldn't be happier. This was my first purchase from Overstock, and I am very happy and impressed.. I placed my order on Dec. 23 and it arrived on Dec. 30, I was so shocked at the quick arrival with the holiday closings and all. I had also shopped around and did alot of research before purchasing my fireplace and I am sure that I got the best deal ever. Looks so real and puts out good heat. Thanks Overstock!

It looks PERFECT in our cabin. Not only does it look fabulous, but it has a powerful fan inside and a thermostat. It heats up the room quickly. Assembly took some time, but if you follow the directions, it is fairly easy. Love the remote. The logs and "fire" look very realistic. It arrives in 2 boxes which are packed extremely well. Nothing was broken, all the parts were there. I want to attach a photo and hope that one day Overstock.com allows that feature. I am a nurse, but everyone who has seem the fireplace has told me I should be an interior decorator. It was EASY with Overstock.com. I got this at a great price, it was delivered to my home and the UPS guy was nice enough to even bring it inside. One box weighs about 70 pounds, the other about 35, which shows how well made it is. Thanks Overstock, we LOVE it.

I bought this for my daughter and her husband for Christmas. This was way too small for a living room. Maybe in an apartment it would e ok but not in a home. They ended up putting it up in their bedroom in stead if hosteling sending it back.

When I took it out of the box my mom fell in love with it. Assembly was not difficult. Just take your time. Everything was in the box. Nothing was damaged. The antique white has a aged look that fits wonderfully with my mother's country house. The photos do not do it justice. It has wonderful detail work. Don't listen to the negative comments about this fireplace it is beautiful. It heated my mothers home in no time at all and she cant stop talking about it.

This fireplace is beautiful! I have considered it one of my Christmas gifts to myself. It does give off quite a bit of heat and since I have concrete floor under my carpet, that is a plus. The only problem that I had with putting it together, was, the little gold screws that came with it were NOT long enough to hold. There are a lot of them, so I suggest you go out and buy 1 1/4 in, screws to make sure you can put it together when you take it out of the box.

I had a hard time putting together this fireplace. The instructions were a little confusing and you will need two people to put it together. I had my carpenter put it together for me and he put in a few extra nails to make it a little more stable. For the price, it is worth it. The fireplace really gives the room a lot more ambience. I expanded the fireplace by building a base for it and building on top of the mantle to make it look grander.

I bought this to cover an existing wood fireplace that we no longer use. It was the perfect size to cover it completely and everyone that sees it loves it.

The fireplace is a nightmare. It is not made of wood. The side split. On line it looks beautiful. Arrived in a timely fashion. The screws are made of plastic, just not what I expected at the price. I only opened the oak one. The White one was sent back. At this price, it does not even have a remote control.

This is a spectacular edtition to any room. Mine is in a 35x45 square foot newly remodeled master bedrom. I live in the moutains where the temp has been below zero at night, this heater hasn't moved from low, and has hardly made a dent in the electrical bill! I was also surprised by the materials, this is definitly not made of pressed wood. I put it together myself in anout 30 min. It is not a crisp white if that is what you are looking for, it has a yellowish antiquing to it, but since my bedroom has a country/victorian feel it fits in perfectly! Another great buy from overstock!
