I loved the size and color so I bit the bullet and paid the high price only to find that the rim tears the bags when you pull the out. I mean EVERY time. By removing the rim (you have to unscrew it ) we have solved the problem but it still means that you have to remove two rims when changing the bag.Just a poor design.

decent garbage can. the lid does not always work. sometimes you have to wait for it to reset itself. not really sure the need for an automatic opener as opposed to a traditional foot lever trash can. will keep it, though.

The trash can is cute. However, it will not work properly. After 2 months of use it finally stop opening and the light stayed red. The first time the motor kept running and I had to turn it off, but once turning it back on, the same thing happened again. The trash can costs more than it is worth. It should be placed in the dumpster.
