I ordered two of these because the total cost of ordering two was actually 50 cents cheaper than ordering one. When I received them I was thrilled with the quality of the jars. The glass is a good 1/4 inch thick and seems like it would be very difficult to break. The cork fits well in the opening, it is not loose, and forms a tight seal, but not so tight that it is overly difficult to squeeze the cork in. The jars are very pretty, and I love putting colorful beans and nuts inside of them. I use them as decorations and well as storage. I recommend putting them in the dishwasher before using because they have a strange chemical smell that goes away after washing a few times. They have a tall giant version of this jar that I will have to invest in soon.
