I ordered the Audrey Queen bed last Monday and recieved it the following Monday. I purchased this bed based on other's reviews and felt I should write a review to perhaps help someone else. I love the bed! It's beautiful, solid and does not shake one bit! Ladies, it took more time to unwrap the bed and dispose of the boxes than it did to put the bed together. This bed is easy to assemble and provides the tools necessary to put the bed together. Yes, I would recommend this bed to friends and family!

In another couple of words: It's Sturdy! I was relieved and gratified that I was able to find a solid bed in this price range. Its design and material are unpretentious, but the curves are welcoming, the color entirely drops out, and the general detail that it does have is enough to match a wide range of furniture styles. The sturdiness is derived from four substantial corner posts and the two side rails and their accompanying four supported (two legged) steel cross bars. The head and footboards are much more lightly built, but of the same coated steel. The finish is a slightly pebbled, low-luster espresso brown. Only one thing could have made the bed better: Made In America.

I must agree with all the other positive feedbacks - a really sturdy, great looking bed. Please note that the finish is dark, dark copper/bronze - not precisely black or brown but would look good with either. Hammered finish is not so rustic that it can't be dressed up.

I love the way the bed looks. Even with my thick mattress and box spring it still looks very nice and much more expensive than it cost. My issue with the bed is that the supports in the center of the bed underneath the box spring have started to bend. It looks like when I was moving the bed, they didn't quite move with the rest of the frame so they are just kind of loose and hanging there. I can take my boxspring off and move them into the normal position but it does make me a little uneasy knowing that they aren't secure and as supportive as they should be. I do have a box spring with boards under my mattress so only time will tell if the bed starts to bow or collapse inwards. I have to say after reading all the reviews I was disappointed that I had this problem with the bed already. I just purchased it in February 2010. Because of this issue, I would have a hard time recommending this bed to someone else, regardless of how nice the physical appearance is.

I bought this two years ago because of the great reviews and appealing look. The first thing i noticed was the lack of space to put things under the bed. You couldn't even fit a shoe box under it. This was an issue for me because of a lack of space in my apartment. To try to mitigate this issue I bough plastic bed risers. This worked well for a about a week then the frame underneath started to fall apart and is now dipping in the middle. Its hard to explain but it just isn't working for me I cant wait to get a new bed! it does look nice though.

Bought it worried that it would not be what I was looking for at the time. Instead I was greatly surprised,and am so proud I risked it, and would definitely buy it again.

I am very pleased with this bed frame. The oiled bronze color seems to match everything. The style is complimentary as well, seemingly demure and striking at the same time. The quality is better than expected, very well made. Extremely easy to assemble. This would be a great purchase!

I absolutely love this bed. Everyone in my family was shocked at how sturdy this bed is for the price. I love the color too. It is a nice dark brown textured with black. I don't have nice furniture in my room so when I do get some, I could either get black or brown because either would match nicely. The only thing I would change about it would be to make it a little taller. Good thing I have a tall matress to balance it out. My dog sleeps under the bed and now she can't get under it : ( I would recommend this bed to anyone!

This bed is sturdy and comfortable. I love the finish on it. My cheap queen sized mattress and boxspring seem a bit small for the frame. This doesn't make a difference. ( I was wondering why my fitted sheets were so easy to slide on) There are middle legs for extra support. It was fairly simple to put together. The main headboard and footboard were pre-assembled.

This bed is sturdy, fashionable and inexpensive. It took about 1 hour to put together. The only complaint I have is that it looked so good it made the room look bad. I had to paint and put up new curtains. Now my room is amazing....awesome purchase!!

I love the way this bed looks and it's a much higher quality than I expected for the price! It is more of a dark coppery brown finish and would match with any color wood accent. I have white wood furniture and it really makes the bed pop yet still fits. This is a beautiful bed that is perfect for teen to adult and would look great in any guest room. I use it as my primary bed and it is sturdy and was more solid than I expected. It took a little tricky handy-work but I was able to put it together myself in under an hour. It is nice that the tools you need come with the bed and the instructions are easy to follow. I bought the full-size and have a regular box spring/mattress. There is a little room left at the end (like 6 inches) but you don't notice it from most angles. All in all, this is a great bed and I am very happy with my purchase!

The bed is pretty and sturdy. You do need a lower profile boxspring, in order to not obliterate the head/foot boards. It is a pretty low profile bed. I dragged the box upstairs by myself and built the bed by myself in an hour or so. I recommend it.

I just built my bed last night and it looks great. I took all of 45 minutes to build. It is women friendly. They provide you with the tools you need. I am glad I purchased this bed. It gives my room a youthful yet mature look against my dark chocolate wood furniture. And its very sturdy but light enough to move around.

While on vacation I stayed at a place that had a similar bed. I fell in love with the look and knew it was what I wanted for my guest bedroom. I first looked at L.L Bean and they had a beautiful bed, but with with a big price tag to match. I couldn't believe when I saw this one and what the price was. I assembled this bed by myself and thought it was quite easy. It took me just as long to remove the protective packaging material as it did to assemble it. But it is worth it to make sure that it arrived in perfect condition.

Great frame for the price. Adds a nice look to my bedroom. Very sturdy (and heavy). Takes a little while to set up, but not difficult if you follow the directions. They only thing I was disappointed by was the sizing. The bottom frame seems to be a couple inches bigger than my mattress (I purchased the queen size for my queen mattress). Also the height of the headboard isn't great. I have a box spring and pillowtop mattress, and with those and my comforter, the bed appears much higher than the one in the picture. When I make my bed and put the pillows on, I can't even see the headboard (except for the side posts). So if you really want the headboard to show, maybe consider something different, or make sure you use a thinner (non-pillowtop) mattress!

I got this in the mail today ( a little over a week after ordering it) and put it together by myself in under an hour and a half. It is pretty high quality and was very easy to assemble--perfect instructions and everything lined up well. I am very pleased with the purchase!

Definately need two people to put this together, but wasn't too difficult. Once it was all put together I could see it was well worth it, looks much more expensive then what I paid for it. The close up pictures that show the texture of the metal don't do it justice as I thought the metal looked better in person. Thus far I am very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this bed (queen) about six years ago. I am very pleased with it. It was easy for a woman to put together by herself. It looks great. I have not had a problem with it. Because I am so happy with it, I purchased another bed, the Fenton, about two months ago for the guest room. I am just as happy with it.

This product came in 2 boxes. All parts were included and instructions were clear and concise. It took about an hour to assemble and it looks good after assembly. The product was as advertised, the price was excellent, shipping cost was great and it was delivered in 3 days. A first rate experience.

Lovely! Beautiful oiled bronze/ dark brown color, sturdy w/ no wobbles!Dimensions are as described - if you have a high profile mattress you won't see as much of the bed as you would probably like. Believe the overstock pic must show the bed made up with either a mattress or boxspring - but not both. Easy enough assembly - absolutely can be done with one person - but 2 would be nice. Hesitant to buy an item like this on-line - but am beyond pleased with the purchase!
