The bench is manufactured by Sitcom and, overall, is a nice piece. The mounted cushion is a comfortable transition when entering the house to remove shoes, bags, jackets, etc. The construction is good enough, however, there is certainly room for improvement.
We recieved the bench within a week of ordering. Assembly was easy....just attaching the legs by turning them in the provided sockets. The bench is very sturdy, we've placed it in the living room, but close to the entry so it's a great seat for putting on/taking off shoes. I was happily surprised that the cushion is attached and while it's not leather it is great looking and easy to clean. We haven't used the storage areas for anything yet...but I'm sure we'll find something to put in them.
