It was easy to assemble. There is one small thing. I believe the description stated it was silver or steel looking. It's more of a medium gray ...somewhat shiney...as shiney as gray can be. But it won't work if you are looking for that steel/polished look. But it still looks good, and was was incredibly easy to assemble.
My husband and I moved to a new home in need of a device to hold all the "gadgets" and components needed to enhance the big screen TV. After shopping various stores in town, I decided to check out Overstock.com. There it was! An audio rack was the solution! It looks great, easy to assemble ( of course I can say that because my husband actually put it together), and the value, awesome!
