Was very excited to receive the piece, but it came totally damaged. What turned out to be cheap walnut finish on top of particleboard was cracked down one side, making the body totally unstable and likely to split in half if we ever tried to put it together fully. In addition, the shelving is weak and probably couldn't withstand any weight. The back piece was also cracked, and leads me to believe this item was returned by a previous customer, already damaged. Horrible! If only the quality were better because it's a very cute, stylish mid-century modern piece of furniture.

This stylish table adds a great retro feel to our mid-cent. mod decor, as well as being the perfect proportions for our 45" TV., without taking over the whole room. The quality of the table is excellent , the wood a beautiful dark rich finish - not at all cheap looking. It's conveniently laid out for all electronic accoutrements, with a little room left over for magazines. Our only complaint was in shipping the back of the table detached, as it was stapled on. We nailed it with a few small furniture nails - no big deal. Legs were easily attached. The table is HEAVY. We'd highly recommend it for its charming look, functionality, and good value.

Very poor quality tv stand arrived cracked in the back and on one shelf. Back plate was unintentionally completely detached. The pieces are barely held together with staples, and one of the legs was a different length. Was so unstable we were afraid to use it since our tv might fall off. Overstock was really wonderful about taking it back though.
