This cabinet is 2 free standing cabinets with desk top that lays across. It moves very easily so once in it's final position would need to be secured to cabinets or maybe you could put rubber dots to keep it from moving. Movable cabinets allows you to position the desktop where ever you prefer/out to the edges or closer with an overlap on ends. I would recommend this to a friend.
