I am pleased with these dishes. I agree with previous reviews in that they are durable and don't seem like they will chip as opposed to my other dishes. Great design and color - as represented in the pic. Excellent buy. My only downfall with them is I have some trouble holding the bowls with one hand while I hand wash because of their shape. Otherwise, they are fab!

I purchased this set to compliment the first set my daughter bought over 8 months ago. They are perfectly intergrated, beautiful in style and craftsmanship. They are amazing to use as a compliment to special occassions, and made even more special as my daughter uses them for everyday service.

I have been looking for new dinnerware for 2 years and never found anything that really grabbed me. My sister called and told me to look at Overstock because she had seen this dinnerware and knew I would like it. Well, I purchased 2 sets!! The size of the pieces is a real plus. The only small complaint I have is that the picture online showed the colors to be a little lighter and brighter. I still love it and have bought several other things from Overstock as well and have been totally thrilled with all my purchases. THANKS!!

I purchased the item primarily because of the design and shape. I was not disappointed when I hoped the quality of the item would impress me as much as the design. After several washings and a couple rather smacks on the side of the sink, I realized I made a good choice. The plates are quite sturdy and can take a smack or two. None of the items chipped or flaked after washing them or accidentally banging them against the side of the sink. I have cut steak on the plates with a very sharp knife and no scrathes were left on the plate. I was so please with the set that I bought another set so we could have a serving of 8. Anyone that is likes the design, colors and shape should not hesitate to purchase. They will not be dissappointed on the overall quality of this dinnerware. Oh yea, I also placed the dinner plate in the micro wave to warm up a dinner and it handled it fine.. The packing by overstock was excellent. The dinnerware arrived in one box but there was no chance of anything breaking or cracking and everyone knows that UPS and Fed Ex do not necessarily handle packages delicately even if the box says fragile. Once again excellent packaging and the item shipped and arrived within the expected time frame.

I ordered two sets of the dinnerware. There are several places on the dinnerware where the glaze is not even, I know it is there, however, no one else seemed to notice it.It makes a very attractive looking table and the size of the dinner plate is far bigger than I expected.If you like the Asian influence, this dinnerware will not disappoint you.

Just received these dishes and they are very nice. Heavy duty, the only thing slightly misleading is the main color of the dishes. It is more grey then it looks in the pictures.

Wonderful dinnerware set. Beautiful yet heavy-duty. I ordered two sets and plan to use them for everyday. Each set came packed very securely - no chips or breaks. Bowls are very large - you could use as a serving bowl if you wanted. Salad plates are only about a fourth smaller than regular dinner plates. Would be great for lunches etc. All the pieces except for the cups stack neatly. Won't take up a large amount of room in your cupboards. I would love to find extra pieces for this set - serving platter, etc. Cups are not as large as mugs but larger than teacups.

Oh, I love this set. The size of the smaller plate is perfect for a small meal or snack. They are durable and wash in the dishwasher beautifully. The bowls are deep enought for soup or a bowl of cereal. The colors are unusual but work well in my kitchen. I will probably order another set in case of company.

some asian theme. I bought 3 sets , They are everything I hoped for and more. Very large heavy well made and lovly to look at . A canvas to inspire any cook.!! The colors are clear and make it easy to match glassware. I am very happy with the product and service.

I bought these for my daughter's housewarming. The plates are heavy, the glaze is thick with a nice texture. I really like the shape. She loves them.

I fell in love with these plates just looking at them. I had to have them. I received them in perfect condition and was so pleased. They are just beautiful. They are very heavy duty and just great dinnerware.

I bought this set for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! Quite unusual pattern and color for the price and looks much more expensive than it was. I looked at a few other sites and this set was by far the best. The dinnerware is lovely, great quality, and we are more than happy with it.

These are simply the most beautiful set of dishes I have ever owned. They are sturdy and well made. The big plate holds alot and it's not a flat surface so food is sure to stay on there. The medium plate is bigger than your conventional dish in fact I sometimes use it as my main plate. The bowls and cups are very deep. Absolutely wonderful. The color of this set is truly beautiful. If you are thinking of getting this think no longer; you will not regret it!

I didn't think that I would like to eat on square dishes but they look so eclectic. They are holding up well after being washed in the dish washer dozens of times.

My new dishes came packed very well and in great shape. I believe they are prettier in person than even on the computer. I enjoy them everyday! I would recommend them to anyone.
