Not as easy as on TV but...
it sure does work! I live in a home built in 1940 and the bathroom has original tiles. The grout had gotten very gray looking and nothing would clean them. I used the small brush and was able to get the grout nearly white! The tiles, originally bright yellow, had so many years of soap scup built up that they had a dull look. The large brush was great for cleaning them, then followed by the squeegy. They are now sunshiney bright! I used the concentrator tip on the wall behind the stove, then went back over it with the steam pocket and I was amazed at the grease that came off! I thought I kept if pretty clean, but the first thing I said when I made the first pass was "EEEwww!". The metal cover on the AC air intake was looking pretty bad, so I took it out to the driveway and used the large brush on it. That aluminum shines now-looks like new! So I went in and took the attic fan cover off and cleaned that too! While I was out in the driveway, I used the same brush on the spokes of one of our motorcycles. They are such a pain to clean, but it went quickly and they shine now. The only thing I was not impressed with was the small brush. After only getting half of the shower cleaned, the bristles were mashed in and I had to keep taking it off and trying to get them back straight. It didn't work. I'm going to see if I can get another one or two from Euro Pro. Overall, I am quite peased with the Shark and can see myself using it a lot.

Service is great
I ordered the Shark steam cleaner after wanting one for a while. It definitely works well, but not as well as it appears on the commercials (of course...). I have to get the hang of it a bit more, too. One thing it was great for - that I didn't even remember until I was walking around with the thing, thinking of things to clean - was spilled wax from a candle that had dripped all over a laminate table top I had. On wood it might've just melted it into the wood grain, maybe, but on laminate (or something like glass) it was the perfect thing. On the negative side, it is LOUD, especially if in a small, enclosed space that has a lot of sound bounce...namely the bathroom. I was trying to clean my tiles and grout - the main reason I bought it - and had to abort because of the shrill sound! I'll try again, but need earplugs, and to be prepared for it. OK, so the real review here is for the CUSTOMER SERVICE. EXCELLENT!! I was missing a couple of parts, and called to get them sent - the customer reps could not have been nicer, and I received the missing parts within the week. It has been a real pleasure to do business with Overstock, so far. Thanks!

Steam Clean Heaven
I've been wanting to steam my kitchen and bathroom floors forever. I wash them on my hands and knees because I havent' been able to find any mop that does the job right. Because the price was so great, I decided to try the Shark. I was disappointed it didn't do rugs, but what can you expect for the price. The Shark is refurbished, but it came in perfect condition with all it's tools. I bought the 2 year warranty just in case, but so far so good. It's very easy to use and my floors have never looked so good or felt so good to walk on with bare feet. Another plus is that even though you can't clean your whole carpet, it's great for spot cleaning stains on your rugs and upholstery. I use stain cleaner on the spot first and then run the sharks upholstery attachement over the stain and all the dirt shows up on the pad. That's awesome! I highly recommend this product.

This machine is easy to use and has the power to cut through even baked on grime. with a variety of attachments, cleaning can now be easy instead of a chore. my only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that it only has 30 minutes of clean time. this is the second one I've owned and if i needed to purchase again I would.

I had an older model of this shark steamer and it finally went after 5 years of continuous use. I was very happy when I found this one at Overstock!!

this is my second shark pro steam cleaner. i lent my old one to a friend and it was destroyed.never again. this machine heats up quickly and runs quite awhile on the hot steam. this is one of the VERY BEST products i have ever purchased.i absolutely love it.i have steam cleaned all of my walls in no time flat.also my tiled shower...comes out shinny and works great on any stubborn stuck on foods like spills in the frig or stove. i did purchase a different steam machine in between my two sharks .it was a waste of money..do not hesitate one minute on the purchase of this shark. refurbished only means it will work better.

Great Buy at a great price!
Don't be fooled by all the reviews of everyone complaining about this. I purchased this and have used it about 4 times since receiving it. The steam cleaner works great at cleaning every object I have put to its test. There are lots of accessories that come with it, they are stored within the unit itself. This makes any cleaning job a breeze!

Shark Steam Cleaner
So far the product has operated as advertised altho I have not had it very long to know if it will last. The only negative thing was no instructions were included on how to use the equipment/attachments which was a pain!

A Very Good Steamer
This steamer works very good. I bought it to clean the bathroom tile grout in my 20 year old house and it did not disappoint. I'm not sure how much money I saved buying it refurbished, but the fact that it was used did not bother me one bit. It worked real well and had all the accessories. It was missing the instruction book but I was able to print one off of the Shark website. It takes maybe 10 minutes to heat up and is a little loud to operate, but I just put my earbuds in and listened to my ipod.
