disappointed75077 from Texas, Rating:5.0Gave this as a gift and my friend was thrilled. Looks just like her retriever! Colors really pop -- just like a retriever's personality! A great gift for a dog lover (and who isn't??).

kriss1975 from Parkville, MD, Rating:5.0This painting is absolutely beautiful. The oranges and reds and blue just stand out on any wall. It is a great addition to any decor. My living room is done in red and black and this looks just amazing.

voodoohippie from Pittsburgh, PA, Rating:5.0Wow...I really love this piece, it's going in my bedroom and I can't wait to hang it. Problem is, "finished and ready to hang" with canvas pieces in my view means they're wired and ready to hang..which this one is not. A trip to the hardware store should rectify that but it's time spent now. Either way, I absolutely love the artwork, quality is there, it's a nice sturdy piece and it should look fantastic above my bed - cant wait to see it up there. Don't hesitate, this girls a stunner!

I am afraid that my knowledge of art history is minimal to the point of ...
Some of my faves are Renoir, Monet, Mary Cassat,Botticelli, Raphael, Some Gustav Klimt would be kid friendly, (some wouldn't), John William Waterhouse is also one of my faves, just to name a few. There are also a lot of modern day artist on etsy.Art should speak to you that's what matters not the name on the painting. I could no more pick a painting for you than any other thing. I would suggest to buy a book on art or go to a museum. Museums are a reasonably cheap outing and is very enjoyabl...
Well, I am actually an artist myself, and I actually just purchased this piece here on the big O that I love: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Joel-Ganucheau-Underground-Wrapped-Canvas-Art/3007677/product.html As the other reviewer said - buy what speaks to you, and this one does speak to me. I just love the sense of mystery in it.. (i.e. - you can't see the girl's face or head, that part is off the canvas).. I also love that purchasing this piece SUPPORTS A LIVING ARTIST!! He ...
