The other reviewers are correct in that it will take a couple of hours to put this nightstand together, but it will be worth it. You'll end up with a heavy piece of furniture when you're done. These nightstands are larger than most, so make sure you have adequate space in your bedroom. I would definitely recommend buying a power drill if you don't already have one. That will make the process go much faster. You will also need a 4mm hex wrench, which you can buy at the hardware store for less than a dollar.

I must say, I was skeptical before ordering this, but my son urged me to try. I'm so glad I did. This is a beautiful little chest, just what I needed for my living room to store my grandkids toys & art supplies. The color is a nice rich deep brown. It took about 1 1/2 hrs to assemble ( make sure you have a drill instead of a screwdriver ) & is perfect. Got it in 6 days, actually had extra screws & things. I almost wish I had somewhere to put another so I could order this again. Just love it!!!

My husband and I purchased two night stands and the 9-drawer dresser as a set. They arrived in less than a week. We put the two nightstands together in about 4 hours. We haven't put the dresser together yet because the front molding piece came damaged. It's the weekend and we are waiting to contact company Monday morning for a replacement. We're truly happy with the quality of the pieces. The stain is a dark walnut, which is not black, but very dark brown. They are a nice transitional design, with both modern and traditional elements. The pieces are very heavy, so we advise constructing them in the room where they'll be placed. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, putting the pieces together is greatly aided by a power screwdriver.

I was impressed on how beautiful this was. It looks much more expensive than it really was. I have been looking for something like this for quite a while. I am glad that I finally found here on OverStock. It is useful with the two drawers also instead of collecting dust on the shelves.

As many others have written, this is a good quality nightstand at a low price. Would likely cost a lot more if it came assembled.
