Just as the previous reviewer said, the drawers stained my clothes! It must be some type of finish that they are putting on the bottom boards that is creating a yellow stain on all of my white clothes. I have yet to wash the clothes but will see if it comes off. Other than that, the dresser looks and feels nice.

I was skeptical after reading the other reviews. Once the two boxes arrived my husband began to assemble it. He spent two hours on the shell and a little over two on the drawers. It's not bad for a cam lock assembly item. It looks better in person. It is expresso brown not cherry brown. Very modern. We have our dish box and dvd in the open space above the drawers and our 42" TV is on top. It's smaller than the previous dresser we owned yet a lot more spacious. I love it and I definitely recommend it. Enjoy!

My brother put this together for me and he said the most time-consuming was the drawers. But this piece of furniture is absolutely AMAZING! I love it so much, I plan on buying the whole Aristo set for my house, great quality furniture and amazing look!

The dresser is beautiful. It was a bit time consuming to put together. My main issue with it is that the inside of the drawers should be lined with cloth or something because any white clothing will get stained a yellowish green color.

i got the dresser yesterday. quick delivery. one of the furniture part, the holes were misalligned, but still managed to put the pieces together. yeah right it took 2 hours to assemble. there were so many screws, drawer pieces. it took me 6 hours plus to put this together. you definitely need an electric screw driver and a rubber mallet. the construction of the wood is poor. it scratches easily and already the corners are chipping off. poor directions on how to put the drawers together as well. i've learned my lession. never buy any furniture that require assembling.

Excellent product, fast delivery, lots of parts. Took two hours to assemble. Quality is good for a cam-lock type of product. Bought the matching night stands. Looks great and very functional. Drawers work very smooth and all line up when assembled. Overall I am very satisfied with the product.

I purchased this chest along with (2) two drawer night stands and the four drawer dresser. The furniture is sturdy and well built. The color is great and it has a wonderful contemporary look that is still warm. The only negatives I found with this furniture is that many of the knobs did not attach with ease, I had to use a wrench along with my screwdriver to try to tighten the knobs and it still did not work well and the wrench scratched each of the knobs. In addition, when I took the pieces out of the box some of the front panels to the drawers had long scratches on them. I put those panels on the bottom so they would not be so obvious. Otherwise, the furniture is great! Oh, one other thing, the draws are not as deep as I had hoped so I cannot put as many clothes in the drawers as I need to. I would still recommend this product to others because it really does look great!

I just got this in today and have assembled almost the entire thing in 2 hours. I would have been done before that but I put the drawer slides on backwards. That is the only reason I took off one star....the directions should have been a little more detailed and labeled the slides left and right. Other than that this is a solid beautiful piece. Not that it mattered to me but the "cappuccino" color was a bit darker than my other cap furniture, just thought I'd throw that out there. Oh yeah it arrived in in less than a week, 5 days I think...

I was thrilled by the quality construction of this piece. I had previously purchased the matching end tables, and this pulls my guest room together nicely. It is very heavy and comes in many pieces, but it went together smoothly (it took more than an hour) and all parts fit tightly. It looks great. I didn't care for the hardware and replaced all of the knobs with oiled bronze. Just a personal preference with the espresso finish.

This is a beautiful chest for the money. We (my husband & I) put it together in about 3-4 hours. We also assembled the nightstand which is very similar to the chest (only much easier after doing the chest!) and it only took about an hour. I would recommend using wood glue on the joints where the dowels go into the drawers to prevent them from working themselves loose. The directions are very easy to follow and again for the money worth the time! Thanks Overstock!

I only have two issues with this product. (1)It took forever to put it together. (2) A couple of the drawer knobs did not seem to want to screw on straight. Other than that, I really like the furniture. Oh, and I agree with one commenters assessment that you should put part F on before putting on the back.

We were quite pleased to receive the item so quickly. My husband put the dresser together, and although it did take some time, all the pieces were there and in undamaged condition. This is a solid piece of furniture, and not cheap like many pieces of furniture these days. It looks wonderful in my son's room, and I highly recommend it. It was well worth what we paid for it.

Bought this chest, the 4 drawer dresser and the night stand after looking around town for something less expensive. My concern was putting it together after reading the other reviews. It took a couple of hours each for the two big pieces. It was simple if you follow the instructions. I love it!. I painted my walls a deep tangerine and this furniture looks wonderful in the room.Heavy REAL WOOD. All the drilled holes were percise making all the drawers line up perfectly. I wish I had room for another piece. With the shipping price as low as it was, it was well worth putting it together. I sit back looking at it all and can hardly believe I did it myself! I will take the tips about lining the drawers. Thanks!

The dresser looks more expensive then it actually is. We liked the dresser so much that we ordered a second one. It helps to sort all the parts first. It took 31/2 hours for the first dresser and 2 hours for the second one. It helps to put part F on before you put on the back of the dresser. We liked the quality of the product and the instructions were easy to understand. It was worth the time to put it together.

I bought this 6-drawer dresser one month ago, and I was very pleased with the assembly, delivery, and appearance...BUT...the inside of the drawers have stained all of my clothes! I had white and light colored clothing in the drawers for only this short time, and I noticed a couple of days ago that there is yellow stain from the bottom and sides of drawers rubbing off on all of my clothes! I have to wash all of my clothing now, and just hope that the furniture stain comes out...if not, then I guess this dresser was not worth the sacrifice of my entire wardrobe.Please be warned to use drawer liners before putting anything into these drawers!!!! Please do not make the same mistake that I did! If you are not willing to line the entire set of drawers (sides and bottom) then I would not recommend this dresser for you. I can only assume that the whole set of this Aristo furniture would be the same way.

Solid, seems to be durable, make sure you put the drawer sliders w/ the tab up. *or you will spend an extra hour doing it* Recommend using power tools or you will get blisters.. Very pleased w/ this dresser and night stand

This piece (along with several others I purchased from this line) looks nice and requires quite a bit of work.....but after putting everything together- it is so VERY unstable! Now, I've put together a lot of furniture over the years, but this is a new low.Requires quite a lot of assembly- which is ok, but there is no way I would ever put anything valuable on it- this thing is VERY unstable. Everything has been tightened as much as possible and every step has been followed to a 'T'.....I would never recommend this product- I can find something just as nice and a lot sturdier for the same amount of $$.

I ordered this dresser, a side table, and the lingerie chest. First the appearance is excellent with nice wood and glass. Definitely a nice chocolate wood touch for the bedroom. However, after spening hours on the side table and lingerie chest, the dresser sat in it's box for quite a while before I worked up the courage to tackle it. It easily took me and my hubby 5 hours. There are so many pieces. The main tedious part is putting together each of the 6 drawers and the drawer pulls. Of course I put the drawer tracks on upside down a couple times and had to re-do. This is something you should seriously consider paying a handyman $100 to put together for you. End product is nice although the front of one of the drawers fell off (must not have been secured correctly). Overall I would buy more of the set, but be smart and pay someone to put it together for you. Each piece takes at least a day and you will have blisters on your hands...

My 16 year old son put this furniture together this past weekend. Great price, good quality, and very easy to assemble. I bought this complete Aristo Halifax set for our Master Bedroom. This is the first master bedroom furniture we have purchased in over 20 years. My wife is so HAPPY with the color and quality of this product. It is simply amazing. We have been looking for the right product for years. She is so excited. We can't wait for the bed to arrive to go with this set. Thanks to your review feedback, this decision has been fantastic. I just finished constructing my new dresser -- it took four hours. Wow! The other reviewers were right about the extensive construction time. I must say though, the time was worth it! The dresser is beautiful. Very happy I bought it and would certainly reccomend it to others!
