I'm very disappointed in this piece. I read to make sure i was not buying particle board. which indeed it turned out to be. It was very well painted to look otherwise. It took me a little over 2 hours to put together alone. All 5 drawers split on the bottoms when following directions to screw on the drawer slides for each. which made me start looking very carefully at the material used. It was intentionally trying to be covered up.. I think i paid too much money for the cheap materials it was made from. I was looking for a piece to be around for a long time.. i dont see that happening. It is nice and it looks like the picture but when you are looking for a real material and find out it is all well painted instead it is disappointing.. It would cost to much to time and money to take apart and send back. Lesson learned to be leary of Rubberwood products being expensive well painted particle board. I thought about ordering other pieces of furniture but am very leary now. Dont want to make the same costly mistake twice... BE Ware and READ Carefully...

At first I loved the look of this dresser. It is very sturdy and made well. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU PURCHASE!!!! I used it for clothing and after about 5 months I noticed that all of my items on the bottom of each drawer were stained YELLOW and BROWN!! I was shocked to say the least and quite upset that I thought I was getting a beautiful dresser only to realize it is useless since I cannot store clothing in it. I tried to wash out the items but the stains remained. I now see that several other people have reviewed this same issue with this entire line. If you are planning to use this for items OTHER THAN CLOTHING then this would be a nice peice but beware of the Staining issue. Tears come to my eyes when I think of all the clothing that is now ruined and hundreds of dallors down the drain :(

I've put together the Aristo nightstand before, and did the 6 drawer dresser the weekend before. This is pretty straightforward with decent instructions. Just remember that the grooves on the legs of the panels indicate the backside of the dresser. Also that the fixed panel (shelf on top), the bottom holes face towards the back as well. Laying everything out to know where the pieces are makes things go a lot faster then trying to rummage through the boxes once you start. I did have trouble with one of the knobs. The screw was a bit stripped so I had to glue the knob onto the screw so it wouldn't spin. Minor issue, though, still a great value.

Let me begin by saying, I absolutely LOVE this piece. I'm glad I got it. I bought the dresser drawer, two nightstands and this lingerie chest... My ONLY regret is that I did not know that the inside of the drawers would rub off and discolor my white garments. The good thing is that the stain (like a deep lime green color) washes off in the laundry. No bleaching and extra stain-removing needed. So, I got some clear contact paper and lined the bottom of the drawers. Worked like a charm.. until, I learned that the SIDES of the drawers were also rubbing off on the whites... AMAZING..!! I haven't had the energy to go in and cover the sides, right now, I'm just keeping the white clothes in the middle of the drawer. Strangely enough, the sides DO NOT rub off on the other colors, even light colors like pink or yellow... Go Figure...So, overall, love the piece, love the entire line of Aristo furniture, just know what you're getting into and factor in lining the drawers when you assemble. Unless and until Aristo does something about the bleeding...Hope this helps....

This furniture looks great. We bought the lingerie chest, 4 drawer dresser and two nightstands and each piece looks awesome. We shopped around trying to find contemporary bedroom furniture and could not find anything that was affordable. I am so glad we took a chance with this set because I don't think I would have like anything better! The color is perfect and the construction of the pieces is quality. It does not look prefab at all! We have had so many compliments on our new bedroom too. I just wish the bed came in a King size! We would buy it if it did. It is not hard to assemble, however it does take a while. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. To put together the four pieces it took my husband and I about 6 hours, but well worth it!

Great quality for the price.I am using it in my pre-teen's bedroom, but looks nice enough for a master bedroom. It was delivered within 10 days. Looks like higher end furniture. You absolutely cannot beat the shipping cost. This was my final determining factor when ordering online. I would recommend this furniture and Overstock.com.

I am very pleased with this chest. I have no complaints. It's part of a bedroom set that I purchased a couple of years ago. I even love how the top piece can lift off, for a deeper cleaning, when dusting. I felt it was easy enough to assemble, the instructions were clear and conscice.

Its what I expected considering the review. I love the fact that it matched perfectly with my bed and I use it as end tables due to space. Its truly is not too girlie nor too masculine. It was a bit difficult to put together, but i expected it based on other reviews and made sure i had space and an extra pair of hands to help put together.

The measurements are accurate. This piece fit perfectly. I use it in my living room next to my couch. The drawers move flawlessly. It provides great storage: dvds, laptops, books etc. It is solid. It does have a scratch on the front that it came with but, it is not that noticable.

I'm really upset at the quality and amount of assembly involved. It's at least a 4 hour project for two. We are stuck with this piece of junk and advise you avoid and put the money towards a better piece. Overstock you really let me down!

this was easy to put together and really looks wonderful in my bedroom. The drawers are sturdy and for the size, roomy. I use it for my bedroom as a TV stand and lingere storage. works wonders!!

Good Quality for the money Instructions on putting the product together was simple. All parts were in the box. There were many pieces and parts so it required several hours to put the Chest tohether. I would have like a more secure way of putting the top piece on the Chest. It is still not secured no matter how many times you attempt to tighten the part. But since this isn't critical to the structure of the chest this was acceptable.

I had no real problems assembling the Lingerie chest and the drawers are much roomier than I thought they would be at first. I would like the main section to feel much more secure than it does at the point in assembly where one attaches the top pieces; the unit seems very insteady and sways. One thing which would help (echoing other reviews) is larger detail on the instruction sheet, especially about what direction to turn the camlock pieces. Several times I thought the joins were tight and then they would seperate when pressure was exerted because the camlocks were not secure. Also, I have not experienced any problem with furniture stain coming off on my clothes and I have not lined the drawers. All in all for the price and the time taken to assemble, I am very satisfied. This is my first matching bedroom set (6 drawer chest, lingerie chest and nightstand) so my bedroom looks very classy now!

I was very glad I read the reviews, so I knew assembly could be a challenge and did not try to finish at one time. We took two sessions to put the dresser together. Total of three or four hours. Would have been less time if I had put the side rails in the correct direction the first time. Look carefully at the photo, the wheels go toward the back. I really appreciate whoever said it goes great with Crate and Barrel, it does. Love my new dresser.

Great dresser! It's made of rubberwood (basically particle board) but we put it together using a drill and didn't have trouble with drawer bottoms cracking from screwing the rails in. I purchased this with the nightstand and they look great in my small guest bedroom. It took us about two and a half hours to put together using the drill, if we had done the screws by hand it probably would have taken much longer. All the holes were pre-drilled. To me, the pictures make the furniture look almost black but they're a dark brown finish which is what I was hoping for. The top shelf makes it look decorative and similar dressers I looked at in store were hundreds of dollars more.

I used 2 of these pieces with the 6 drawer tall chest (since they were the same height). I flanked the dresser with the two lingerie chests and it made a nice wall unit. Ample storage. Smooth action in the drawers without any catches. Easy assembly and once it was done looked like it had been made in a shop not on my living room floor!

I am very pleased with this product, and it looks great in my small bedroom. My only complaint is that the tracks for the drawers do not have pre-drilled holes and some of the pieces split a little. Despite this the drawers slide easily and hold more than you would think. Overall a great piece, for a great price.

Very sturdy and heavy, not light or flimsy. Looks great. All pieces are in perfect condition, none are scratched or damaged. All pieces have consistent color. Hardware excellent. Each drawer holds lots of lingerie, hosiery, socks (or just two sweaters). The shelf is the perfect fit for our satellite DVR box, with our flat screen on top of the unit. Bad points: took 7 hours to put together this lingerie chest. Drawers do not line up, some go further into the drawer recesses than others. In order for the drawer fronts to line up, I don't push some drawers all the way into the drawerr casing. If the drawers all lined up, this would have gotten 5 stars. If purchased at a major furniture retailer, this piece would have cost $800 or higher. I will put up with the drawer problem in order to save $$$+ !!!
